Combining peace with a thick slice of luxury in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, The Wood Eldroth is a splendid spot at which to lay your head in quite some comfort. You’re surrounded by the hills and valleys of the spectacular Dales, but all handy amenities like shops, pubs and restaurants are just down the road in Settle (15 minutes’ drive). With no main roads around, there’s an absence of traffic noise too. Accommodation here comes in thoughtfully designed bell tents sure to help you have a relaxing stay. Each unit features a cosy double bed, indoor seating, ambient lighting, plug sockets and handy storage. Step outside and you have private decking with comfortable seating, a barbecue, washing-up sink and fridge, plus all essential cooking equipment for dining under the stars on clear nights. Steps away from the tents is a pristine modern shower block. Even better, you can unwind in your exclusive-use hot tub, or get rid of any stresses or strains in the infrared sauna (it’s free to use). Towels and robes are provided for your comfort.

  • At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.
  • If making a fire, the fuel, logs and coal have to be purchased on site.
  • Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
  • Swimming in the lake is not allowed.
