What customers say
This is a peaceful, clean, and friendly campsite with beautiful views and plentiful wildlife, including popular alpacas. Guests praise the helpful owners, good value for money, and well-maintained facilities, especially the showers and cafe. The main drawbacks are the bumpy access road and the walk down a steep hill to the toilets and showers, which can be challenging for those with mobility issues. Despite this, many visitors express a desire to return.

The peaceful tranquility
Clean and well kept site
The animals
The fishing lake
Showers and toilets were an added bonus
Disliked The drive up to the camp was so bumpy at times it felt like you were going to pop your tyres. Pot holes and uneven areas. Deffo needs a proper track done to avoid potential damage to vehicles.
A small park would be well received for children as not much around or for them to do on-site

Non-electric hardstanding and grass motorhome pitch
Liked Small friendly site, no allocated pitches, lovely walks around the lakes, showers and toilets nice and clean, lots of animals to look at and food to buy from the shop to feed them. Cafe on site but didn’t get there in time to try it out. Close to the motorway so perfect for an overnight stopover on our journey north. Would recommend!
Disliked Shame there was no children’s play area as my youngest would have liked that but the animals made up for it!

Lovely campsite, would recommend!
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Shower/Toilet block was great - really clean. Really picturesque area and setting up camp/checking in was super easy.
Breakfast was also well priced and lovely.
We travelled down from Leeds to go to West Midlands Safari Park and after having such a good experience, I'll be travelling down in the future for the fishing
Disliked Toilet block was quite far away hence the minus 1 star, but it looks like they're taking steps in the future to move it closer.
