This is a great place to go camping or pitch your camper van.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked We had a great pitch with plenty of space. The weather was a bit challenging, but it didn't take away from the enjoyment and positive experience there. In general, the staff are friendly and helpful and the area is quiet and relaxing. We also liked that there were decent toilet and shower facilities and they have a cafe there. I also saw Wassell staff loan a small gas cooker to a camper who needed one. Another big tick for me.
Disliked 2 cars stopped in the middle of the drive way and I couldn't get past, to my tent, so I went around them. Later, one of the people who had stopped on the drive way (from Wassell I believe), drove up to me and said that I shouldn't drive on the grass, as it churns it up when it is wet. This annoyed me as I wouldn't have gone on the grass he and his friend hadn't stopped so no one could get by.

From the manager: Hi Maurice. Sorry to hear this. Can you tell me a bit more about what happened regarding your stay and not being able to drive on the grass as we are allowing people to drive on the grass at the moment (unless it's a heavy vehicle). You may only be able to respond to us by email. Look forward to hearing from you. Regards. Paul

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Easy to find and great facilities, in a good location for walking around the Clent Hills. Great value for money.
Disliked Pitches could probably do with a tidy up, grass is long and ground is very uneven in places. Noise from the surrounding roads and unfortunately all the geese around the lakes but that can’t be helped.
