What customers say

Visitors highly recommend this site for its beautiful shepherds' huts and peaceful, private setting, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Guests praised the excellent facilities, thought-out amenities, and thoughtful extras like homemade biscuits. The location offers a great balance, close to Stratford's attractions yet surrounded by countryside, with friendly hosts and charming nearby animals adding to the appeal. The only minor drawbacks mentioned were the proximity to a road and, for one guest, adjusting to the toilet.

Shepherd's hut

Liked Amazing location! Hut was lovely cosy but plenty of room! Lots of outdoor space! Went above and beyond including everything you could possibly need, even lent us a extra long lead for the dog. Shower and toilet
fab. Donkey and pony a lovely touch. Can't wait to return!

Liked A lovely, comfortable and spacious hut in its own enclosed space giving us room and comfort to relax. The Woodsmans hut had great shower facilities too.

Shepherd's hut

Liked absolutely beautiful cabin and outdoor space, we needed somewhere to have a break away with a new rescue dog who had never experienced home / family life before we had her. This place exceeded our expectations. it was during a very hot spell that we went and the tree cover and outdoor area kept it all wonderfully shaded and useable when it was too hot to venture further afield. we didnt explore the area much, but had some lovely evening walks around the village. the local shop was very convienient, and the village itself was a pretty place with some facinating history. The host was very friendly and extremely helpful and easy to contact should she be needed. stunning place to get away from it all and just chill.

Shepherd's hut

Liked Everything! We’ve stayed in lots of places similar to this & this was really high on our list. The space you have is really lovely, with everything you need provided. The extra touches for my partners birthday were so lovely - thank you to Hannah for excellent communication. Loved the location, best of both worlds being close to nice bars / restaurants in Stratford but also a stones throw from rural countryside.

Shepherd's hut

Liked Booked on Friday night for arrival on Saturday- everything ready, big fluffy towels, even homemade biscuits & fresh milk😍
First time staying in a shepherds hut.
Nice private area- you are the only ones here so no sharing facilities; just the Shetland pony & donkey next door.
Hayley, the host made us very welcome.
Handy booklet with ideas for places to visit (of which there are many)& local restaurants/ takeaways. We loved the Kolshi Indian restaurant in Wellesbourne.

Disliked The only very, very minor thing is the proximity to A429- this road has cut through the farm- that’s progress ☹️but if you’re a petrol head bring your binoculars and watch the supercars & bikes on their way to / from Caffeine & machine just up the road.

Shepherd's hut

Liked Loved the whole place! Beautiful space, beautiful shepherds hut, the facilities provided were really good and it was quiet. Lovely to be able to walk around the village and to the village pub. The homemade biscuits were also a treat!

Disliked Absolutely nothing to dislike! The only issue we had was it rained the majority of the time so we will definitely have to come back when the weather is better to really make the most of the outside space provided

Local attractions

Head to Stratford-upon-Avon 15 minutes away by car to follow in the footsteps of the town’s most famed son – there’s all manner of Shakespeare-related attractions over here, including the Shakespeare’s Birthplace museum, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, Mary Arden’s Farm and shows at the Royal Shakespeare Company theatre. Leaving the Bard behind, drive a few minutes further north (around 20 from the farm) to gawp at gorgeous Warwick Castle, wander around Charlecote Park or see the huge collection of vintage cars at the British Motor Museum. You may be able to catch a meet at Warwick Racecourse; if not, try your luck betting on the sheep races at Hatton Country World (also home to lots of other animals and activities). There are lots of local walks to be had, but you may also like to stretch your legs a little more wandering through the Cotswolds, half an hour away. Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Moreton-in-Marsh are some of the top spots for a scenic stroll.
