Have a sweet stay at Green Gates Caravan Park, a family-friendly site 10 minutes’ drive from the Warwickshire town of Stratford-upon-Avon (a place with plenty of choice for filling holiday days, including visits to a whole host of Shakespeare-related spots). In a fledgling orchard a 10-minute stroll from the quiet village of Snitterfield, the site is well set up for relaxing rural escapes. It’s also well placed for urban adventures though, as Birmingham city centre is a mere 35 minutes away by car. To further boost your countryside sojourn, the Green Gates team recommend a stroll of about 400 metres along the lane to a farm shop selling artisan food from several producers (the sort of thing that'd be ideal for a picnic or barbie back at base, one might suggest). The shop also has a café and deli, as well as a family play area and animals to see. Amenities include a modern bathroom block, added in 2022, housing several toilets and showers. Please note that Green Gates Caravan Park is next to the A46, so expect some noise from passing traffic during your stay.

Liked Lovely site with great sized pitches.
The taxi service provided by Uber was fantastic. Only £7 to Stratford and £13 to Lemington Spa both lovely places to visit.

Disliked The road noise let this site down. We were expecting the noise and made sure we took our ear plugs, we definitely needed them. I live on a roadside but this was a lot worse.

Couldn’t find the larger shower cubicle due to poor lighting.
The shower my husband used was tiny
Might be nice to have some pavers as you walk to the kissing gate to exit on foot . The grass was very wet we had to walk across .

at times motorhome vibrated when lorries went past even sleeping in earplugs .

Liked Pitch hard standing and level. Some concrete standings. Electric hook up.
Wash up room. Security good.

Disliked Road noise . Toilet block small and smelled. Dampness within block, only one Toilet and small shower cubicles. Always smelled.

Liked Small, quiet site with great facilities, easy access and great customer support. Cobbs Farm just 5 minute walk away is worth a visit, pleanty of open space to walk your dog. 100% will stay again.

Liked Lovely ground and location with friendly and really helpful owners.

Disliked The toilets/showers were clean, however there was a really unpleasant odour. It is also right next to the A46 so road noise is apparent but of course this is not the owners fault.

Liked I loved your site well set out, clean and nice big sized pitches. Only downside for me was the noise of the road. I was aware of how close you were to it when I booked but thought it may quieten down a bit over night. Sadly it didn’t😕

Liked Nice site with lots of room between pitches. Nice farm shop just a five minute walk from the site, and Snitterfield village shop about a fifteen minute walk away. Clean facilities and friendly owners. Would use again.

Liked Lovely spacious pitches clean facilities and easy access to many national trust houses. Tesco Aldi lldl and Waitrose all nearby we had a problem with electric connection (our caravans fault, not the sites) and after a phone call and visit from the owners on a Sunday afternoon it was sorted!

Disliked Nothing the site could do about it but the road noise at night was relentless. Wouldn’t stop us staying again but it was very noisy!
