What customers say

This adults-only site is praised for its immaculate, well-maintained grounds, large pitches, and quiet atmosphere. Its excellent location offers easy walking access to Market Bosworth and country park walks. Facilities, including toilets and showers, are generally noted as clean and warm. Some guests experienced noise from nearby clubs or roads, and a few found the facilities limited or distant from pitches. A minority reported issues with communication or perceived value.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Great location .. 25 mins walk into Market Bosworth and to bus stop. Excellent and interesting area .. Battle of Bosworth Visitor Centre very good, as was the Richard III Visitor Centre in Leicester (1 hour bus from Market Bosworth).
Very well kept Adults only site, with spotless Toilets & Showers block, which wasn't annoyingly shut for cleaning. Good pitch size for caravan & awning.

Disliked Most of the caravans & motorhomes on the site are there on a permanent basis, so not many pitches for tourers.
Not really a dislike .. just a bit unusual. No reception, but not needed as security code emailed prior to arrival.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Well maintained site. No kids. Nice walk to pub and shops etc. The town is lovely. Great location for history. Nice warm toilet block.

Disliked Noise from football club opposite.
Lots of friendly people living on the site.
Toilet waste had to be lifted into Toilet. Yuck.
No view. Noise from road felt like a race track at times. High price for what you get.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Very clean and well kept site. Close to a delightful Market Bosworth Town which is interesting and quaint. We were fortunate to see the steam engines of different sizes passing through. We can recommend the Zimla Indian restaurant.

Disliked We didn't receive an email informing us of the gate number or pitch number, had to ring number on the gate to gain entry, lady very pleasant told us gate number and pitch number. There wasn't any other information given to us such as elsan point, shower block etc. We were there for 3 nights and never saw anybody that was anything to do with the site. Very poor customer service. Had to ask Gardner questions.

Local attractions

The centre of Market Bosworth is a conservation area and has heaps of old buildings to see around its market place; Bosworth dates back to 1048 and has had a Royal Charter for its market since the seventeenth century. There’s still a weekly market on Wednesdays, with a farmers’ market held every month, and the town is also known for its galleries and antiquery geekery; The Clock Shop in The Square has antique barometers and long case clocks to covet. Bosworth Water Trust is within wandering distance of the town centre, with a 20-acre lake for watersports and fishing and taster sessions/private lessons on offer for anyone wanting to get to grips with canoeing, sailing or windsurfing. Once you’ve damply tired yourself out, have a seat on the Battlefield Line: this nineteenth-century railway is still steaming through the heart of England, with a stop at Bosworth en route from Shackerstone to Shenton. Slightly further afield towards Tamworth, go loopy on the rides and eyeball the animals at Drayton Manor Theme Park, or slide down the slopes on skis or snowboards at the indoor snow slope SnowDome; you might also enjoy gibbering at the gibbons at Twycross Zoo. But you can’t go to Bosworth and not explore the demise of Richard 3 with a trip to the Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre and Country Park… Among the many highlights here are trying your skills as an archer, donning armour to find out how heavy it is (very) and hearing about the gruesome facts of medieval warfare. One the kids will like, then…You can reach Warwick Castle easily from here too, which should be a big hit with little historians with its re-enactments, dressing up and daily shows.
