  • Luxurious glamping pods with Ceiriog Valley views in Shropshire
  • Pontcysyllte Aqueduct 10 minutes’ drive and Llangollen 20 minutes
  • Outdoor kitchen and barbecues provided; yoga studio and sauna on site
Combining a blend of creature comforts with a back-to-nature and wellbeing vibe, Stay Wild Retreats and Glamping is set on the outskirts of Weston Rhyn (five minutes’ drive) and close to the Shropshire border with Wales. Accommodation is in cleverly designed wooden pods designed for comfort and privacy, featuring cosy interiors with quality bed linens, comfy cushions and pieces of local artwork. Each unit has its own private decking with stunning Ceiriog Valley views. Barbecues are provided and there’s an outdoor kitchen for preparing alfresco meals at the same time as soaking up the fresh air and stunning views – it also gives you a chance to socialise with fellow guests and share stories of your daily adventures. Close by is a play area surrounded by trees (the trampoline is a firm favourite). Practical facilities include modern showers with lashings of hot water, communal fridges, freezers and charging points, while the yoga studio and woodfired sauna both incur an extra charge. From the tree-shaded pitches, there are riverside strolls through the Ceiriog Valley or along the Shropshire Union Canal, while off site, you can go whitewater rafting on the River Dee (15 minutes’ drive) or browse craft markets in Llangollen (20 minutes).
