From family-friendly adventure parks to Tudor country estates and ice cream farms, you’ll be able to craft out a cheerful itinerary from the canalside at Hotel Farm. This dog-friendly site is in the village of Grindley Brook alongside the Shropshire Union Canal, so when you’re not too busy exploring Bettisfield Park (10 minutes’ drive) or Chester (40 minutes’ drive), your day could look a little like canal walks followed by a barbecue back on site. A new site based out of a farm, there are simple facilities on site. These include cold water, a flushing toilet and basin for convenience. There are picnic tables (and a kitchen sink and drainer) for when you decide to get a barbecue on the go, but open fires aren’t permitted here for safety reasons. With the canal adjacent to the site, you may want to wander past its streamlined boats and into the historic town of Whitchurch (it’s a 45-minute walk away along the canal). Here, there are supermarkets and a takeaway, so it won't feel like the essential amenities are far away. When you’re looking for somewhere to stop off for food a little closer by, the local pub is an even shorter walk away (just five minutes up the road) and serves food, local real ales and more drinks from their wine list or selection of gins and whiskies.

Admission

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Please pick any available pitch on arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).

General

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
Refunds within the indicated cancellation period are only possible if the site is able to relet your unit/pitch.
