What customers say
Wayside is a small, friendly, and peaceful campsite with spacious, well-maintained pitches and beautiful views. Visitors consistently praise the immaculately clean facilities, including modern shower and toilet blocks. The on-site bar and cafe is a significant bonus, serving good food and drinks. Owners and staff are frequently described as exceptionally friendly, helpful, and welcoming. While some mention minor issues like the road noise, occasional WiFi unreliability, or the need for levelling blocks on pitches, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Fantastic spot, will definitely come again.
Electric grass pitch
Liked Brilliant site and facilities. The bar was a great edition and everything was well setup and spotlessly clean. Owners very friendly and helpful.
Disliked Tent pitches are on a slight incline. Couldn't get wifi to connect but mobile 4G signal was strong so wasn't a major issue.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Lovely campsite (and an actual campsite, not just a field). Good pitches, quiet, lots of space and good facilities. We walked to the Kangooroo Inn (about 7 minutes) - along the road, but it was easy to get on the green verges when a car passed. The bar at the campsite wasn't open (perhaps it was earlier in the day - we arrived at 5.30pm).
