This is a highly recommended, small, quiet, adult-only campsite known for its friendly and exceptionally helpful owner, John. Pitches are spacious and well-maintained, with spotless facilities including a shower and toilets. The site offers a peaceful setting with good WiFi and is well-located for exploring the area, with easy access to the motorway and local transport. Some guests noted minor road noise and suggested improvements to washing-up facilities.

Liked Highlands is a lovely site, we found it very friendly especially the owner John.
The whole site was clean and tidy with plenty of space between pitches. We chose Highlands for its easy access from the M40 no dreaded narrow roads to negotiate.
Idea for exploring Oxfordshire.
The toilet, shower areas are kept very clean. WI FI was free and good enough for us.
The only downside was it was to hot for us.
John, could you please turn down the sun a few degrees, thanks 😊

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked John and Judy were so welcoming.
The shower/toilet, and separate toilet were spotless and shower was hot and powerful. So very peaceful. There is a little noise from the road, but really not intrusive.
The low number of pitches ensures a peaceful stay. Will be re-booking without any shadow of doubt.
Disliked Nothing. Except, we stayed for a festival and John wore an amazing shirt, but the following morning his shirt was boring.
Sorry John, but keep up those bright coloured shirts, they suit you.
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Sarah and Tracy, you certainly brightened the weekend, and it was great to have you both here, but on another note you say that my shirt is not to your liking well I have only one thing to say to that and that is "bolxxks" love you and see you soon xxx
