What customers say

This is a beautifully maintained, peaceful and quiet campsite with immaculate toilet and shower facilities. Pitches are spacious and level, surrounding a fishing pond. Visitors consistently praise the friendly and helpful owners, the cleanliness of the site, and the excellent amenities including a communal summer house. Many guests report having booked return visits. A small number of comments mention a lack of Wi-Fi and that the site may not be ideal for very young children due to requests for quiet.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked It's a small and perfectly formed site, nice level pitch beautifully kept. Liked the communal summer house great idea. Beautiful clean toilet and showers every thing about this place wants me to visit again so we booked again for April. Price is good no extra charge for dogs (which I object to)what are the reasons for changing your dog to stay in your own accommodation.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked Easy to find, even on a rainy February evening with the light fading. Good pitch - think that is it pictured above! Electric and water available on pitch. Fairly level on hard-standing. Nice view over small lake. Extremely peaceful. Looks to be a new toilet/shower block, but did not use it. Chemical toilet waste disposal convenient.

Disliked Motor Homers - No grey water waste disposal drain - bring a bucket!

Local attractions

A round of the local golf course to kickstart your Lincolnshire break? Elsham Golf Club (five minutes’ drive) has been around since 1900 and has 18 holes. Hull (35 minutes) is just as historic: there’s the Streetlife Museum with old trams, cars and carriages, as well as the Hull Maritime Museum. The Deep (half an hour) aquarium is another fine entertainment option with jellyfish, stingrays and sharks. If that has you wanting more of the water (but no more sharks, please and thank you), make your way to Cleethorpes (35 minutes) for paddleboarding and kayaking. Waters' Edge Country Park & Visitor Centre (15 minutes) has some sublime river views and dog-friendly walks, as well as a viewing port over the bridge. Perhaps you want something that will get your heart rate up even more – and what a wild setting the Regency mansion at Normanby Hall Country Park (20 minutes) is for a Go Ape treetop course.
