What customers say

This small, peaceful site is set around a fishing pond, offering a relaxing retreat with farm animals and beautiful countryside views. Visitors consistently praise the immaculate, modern toilet and shower facilities. The communal summer house is a popular addition, providing a comfortable space for guests. Owners are described as friendly, helpful, and taking great pride in the well-maintained grounds. Most guests found nothing to dislike, though some noted a lack of WiFi and a desire for more local amenities or dog-walking areas.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked Beautifully appointed site. Set back from the road with Highlands cows, goat & chickens in the adjacent fields. To the left there were donkeys that made it even more cute!
Beautiful pond and excellent bathroom/ shower facilities, ABSOLUTELY spotless!
Big shout out to the owners Dad who meeted and greeted us on our arrival. He was very welcoming and friendly and made us feel at ease immediately. ;)
Fresh eggs for sale at £1.50 for half a dozen on site are thoroughly recommended. Very tasty!
We will definitely be returning to this site.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked Wonderful hidden Gem of a site, well laid out and maintained. The owners have spent a lot of time and thought over the layout. Toilets and showers are easily hotel class quality. Peaceful and quiet. perfect for that stress relieving get away. Would 100% recommend this site :)

Disliked Nothing to dislike about the site itself but as a partially disabled person and using a transportable mobility scooter with small wheels i found the entrance road to be a bit of a challenge for getting on the the main road for walking the dog, but that's a very small niggle

Local attractions

A round of the local golf course to kickstart your Lincolnshire break? Elsham Golf Club (five minutes’ drive) has been around since 1900 and has 18 holes. Hull (35 minutes) is just as historic: there’s the Streetlife Museum with old trams, cars and carriages, as well as the Hull Maritime Museum. The Deep (half an hour) aquarium is another fine entertainment option with jellyfish, stingrays and sharks. If that has you wanting more of the water (but no more sharks, please and thank you), make your way to Cleethorpes (35 minutes) for paddleboarding and kayaking. Waters' Edge Country Park & Visitor Centre (15 minutes) has some sublime river views and dog-friendly walks, as well as a viewing port over the bridge. Perhaps you want something that will get your heart rate up even more – and what a wild setting the Regency mansion at Normanby Hall Country Park (20 minutes) is for a Go Ape treetop course.
