What customers say

This is a highly recommended, well-maintained and organised site with friendly staff. Guests praised the cleanliness and high standard of facilities, including toilets and showers. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the racecourse, and the site offers a good park area for children. Many found the site quiet and appreciated the security barrier and free WiFi. A returning visitor has already requested a seasonal pitch for the following year.

Liked Great little site near to the town. The facilities are very clean as is the campsite. It is run by superb and friendly wardens who go beyond the call of duty to make your stay even better. We will be back.

Liked Well, what can I say?
This is an absolutely fantastic site with staff who went above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I travelled up here with my brother to attend a funeral and chose this site as it was closest to our friend who had recently lost his wife. Also and unbeknown to my brother I had arranged for another couple whom we hadn't seen for over 50 years to meet us there. Lee was aware of this and when we arrived he also kept the secret and pitched us next to our friends caravan. Well, as you can imagine, his face was a picture when he realised who our neighbours were!
I highly recommend this site to anyone who wants to visit this part of the country and believe me, you will have no regrets.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Facilities were spot on. Showers were hot and toilets clean. What we liked most about this site was that everyone was really friendly and mingled/chatted but still maintained a nice relaxed and quiet atmosphere. Really good park and field for the kids next to the racecourse. A proper caravan site and we will be returning next year, probably when there is a race meet.

Disliked Nothing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! If i could offer any feedback on how the site could improve, the shower block could do with a little modernising but that is being very picky as they were nice and clean and more than satisfactory.

Electric grass pitch

Liked This is a great little site - been there a couple of times. Sarah is really welcoming and really can't do enough for you. There are loads of facilities and they're clean and well-maintained. There's even a little shop for essentials (although you're only a short drive away from a Tesco). The pitches can be a bit sloped, so bring levellers if you're bothered. It is right next to the racecourse and I haven't been there on race day, so I can't comment on that.

Disliked Nothing - great site.

Liked Nice and clean including toilets and showers, lovely little park for the little ones (hasn't got loads but just enough I would say to keep them entertained for a while), absolutely brilliant dog walking area!

Disliked Pitches are a little uneven if I'm being picky.

On our booking page our late arrival fees are £5 between 6pm and 7pm, and £10 between 7pm and last arrival time of 8pm
Pitch up latest arrival time is 6pm
I did explain this to you when you emailed to say you would arrive late, and I did waive this fee as your mum let you onto site as you was my last arrival that day. She did an excellent job :)
Thank you for bringing this up in your review so I can put it on for others to see for future reference

Local attractions

The village of Tealby (10 minutes’ drive) looks like something out of a Merchant Ivory film, with small streets lined with pretty stone cottages and shaded trails along the River Rase. The village is the gateway to the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape, within whose farmland and hilly landscapes you might spot wildlife such as hares and herons. Attractions in Lincoln (35 minutes) include the 11th-century cathedral, with two splendid rose windows and a library building designed by Sir Christopher Wren. After checking out the medieval castle, head down Steep Hill (‘steep’ being the key word here), a cobbled street lined with vintage boutiques and art shops. The sandy expanse at Fitties Beach (45 minutes), on the Humber Estuary, is a popular destination for kitesurfers. Behind its vegetation-covered dunes is RSPB Tetney Marshes, whose mudflats and salty lagoons draw redshanks and hen harriers, as well as wading birds.
