Non-electric grass pitch (pet friendly)

Liked: Really nice place. The main camping field is set out really well and it's a really nice peaceful environment.
There is a farm shop and cafe that serves a fantastic breakfast.
There is a toilet and shower room also.
Overall the cost of the stay is great for what you get, there are glaming tents also for rent which are very nice.
The owners are really lovely too.
Overall very happy with Brandshaw Camping and farm shop/Cafe.
The is are music festivals on in the year also which is another bonus A+

Disliked: No maid service for my tent 😂. No as it's priced at what it is I for sure have no dislikes.

Non-electric grass pitch (pet friendly)

Liked: It’s a quiet location with limited pitches so we were able to trial our new camping gear whilst still being able to entertain our toddler and dog.

Disliked: The portaloo is basic as is the shower but we knew this when we booked so it wasn’t a surprise but the location of the loo right by the glamping isn’t ideal.

Local attractions

When golf is your game, you’ll be pleased to know there are several courses within about 20 minutes’ drive of the site. For watching high-octane pursuits like motor-bike racing, you’ll have to catch the right day at Mallory Park Racing Circuit (10 minutes’ drive). Take a waterside stroll in Market Bosworth Country Park (10 minutes), or learn more about the notorious battle of 1485 on guided walking tours at Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre (also 10 minutes), where the kids can dress up as knights for the day and there are occasional weekend enactments of fiercely fought medieval battles. If you’d like to know more about the infamous King Richard III, whose remains were found in a Leicester car park, visit his royal tomb at the King Richard III Visitor Centre (40 minutes). Still in the city, you can clamber aboard rockets at the National Space Centre, and let off steam in East Street Lanes bowling alley (both make great choices for any rainy days with the offspring).
