Lovely Leicestershire countryside meets luxury living at Ragdale Glamping, a smart site on the edge of the village of Ragdale.
This is a splendid rural site spread over 2.5 acres of quiet open space, but it’s also well placed for all sorts of days out including trips to Leicester, Nottingham and attractions like Belvoir Castle and Twinlakes Park. And of course there’s the rather swish Ragdale Hall Spa just up the road if you’d like to treat yourselves to a bit of pampering while you’re here.
There’s plenty of space to relax on site here too – all the pods are set up next to the top fishing pond, with views out over the water, and there are grass pathways around the ponds for gentle strolls to take in the scenery. Picnic tables and benches are dotted around the place so you can choose your spot for alfresco meals or drinks.
Those meals and drinks can be easily prepared too, as each pod has a full kitchenette with kettle, microwave and cooking equipment provided. Other facilities include a smart TV, comfortable beds and a smart ensuite shower room. Bedding and towels are provided too, along with wifi, so you can afford to travel light here and don’t have to worry about bringing lots of stuff with you.
