Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked Beautiful site, so well maintained, and within 5 mins walk to the lovely village of Eardisland.
Our pitch was well kept and a generous size.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome.
We only stayed for one night as we had to move on, but would love to return.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked Very friendly reception. Facilities spot on. Delightful well laid out site with big level pitch. Very quiet, though it was hardly a busy time to visit.
My dog loved what was on offer, including a small enclosed ball games area with balls available! (We’d been given a ball at reception, ++ from dog’s viewpoint) and a larger off lead area too.
I enjoyed just walking round the site, with the lovely setting of the lodges near the river.
Sadly it was merely an overnight on way into Wales, but more than worth a return in its own merit. When in less of a hurry there was lots in the attractive village to explore.

Disliked Nothing that the site was responsible for but I was disappointed to find that my initial research had shown the possibility of a meal in the local pub which proved to be closed on that evening, as was the café I had hoped to visit the following morning.

Fully-serviced gravel and hardstanding touring pitch

Liked What's not to like, from booking the stay to getting back home had a smile on my face the whole time. 😊

Set in an ideal location on the edge of Eardisland village. The park itself is well laid out, well manicured park land with laid out country walks to ramble along to look for the numerous wildlife in the area.

The facilities were in excellent condition, very clean and tidy no sticky floors lol.

The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful more than happy to have a chat 10/10.

A large enclosed dog exercise area laid out with mowed areas and an overgrown area for my young enthusiastic black lab to explore and a bonus of a basket of tennis balls at the gate 🐕

An excellent stay in an ideal location spent over 4hrs exploring the village history sites and chatting to locals, The Cross PH food and ale, Rita's Tea Rooms recommended for eating out.

Overall 10/10 for the whole experience.
Will be back soon.

Local attractions

Taking gentle strolls is a top way to spend your time while staying at this prime park. Wander to Eardisland Castle (10 minutes’ walk) to mosey around a motte circled by a moat or amble by the river to the attractive village of Pembridge (an hour). Other top settlements in the area include the market town of Leominster (10 minutes’ drive) – dawdle around the half-timbered buildings and museums here or get in a round of golf at one of the two local courses. Rather roam without a club in hand? Navigate your way towards some of the handsome mansions in this part of the country, including the National Trust’s Croft Castle and Parkland (15 minutes), Berrington Hall (20 minutes) and Queenswood Country Park and Arboretum (20 minutes). More days out and about are to be had at the Small Breeds Farm Park and Owl Centre (20 minutes), a fab place to head towards if you haven’t managed to spot any creatures down by the riverbanks at the site.
