What customers say
This campsite offers a tranquil and beautiful rural escape with stunning views. Guests enjoyed the peaceful meadow setting, wildlife, and spacious pitches. While the wash house facilities were generally clean with hot showers, some doors were difficult to lock. Sturdy footwear is recommended due to rabbit holes and the hilly terrain. Some guests experienced patchy communication beforehand and noted a bumpy track to access the site. Staff were described as friendly and helpful.

Small site with a beautiful location
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked The campsite is in an idyllic location, nestled in a valley, with no road noise and just the sounds of wildlife. We sat out in the evening watching bats fly over, and listening to owls hooting.
The wash house/ composting loos were clean and neat, and the shower was hot, however the doors had swelled in the heat so it wasn’t possible to lock them. There were so few families in the field this wasn’t really an issue.
Sturdy footwear is needed as there are quite a lot of old rabbit holes to test the ankles, and although the pitches are flat, the site is on a hill.
We are looking forward to staying again soon!
