What customers say
A quiet, back-to-basics campsite with friendly, attentive owners. Guests praised the beautiful location, peaceful atmosphere, and nearby walking routes and pubs. Basic facilities including clean toilets and a water tap are provided. Some visitors noted the site is on a slope, which may present challenges for larger vehicles, particularly in wet weather. Overall, a highly recommended, simple, and enjoyable camping experience.

From the manager: Hi Martin it was lovely to meet you, so glad you enjoyed your stay , see you next year x
Not for me, wanted more of a wild camp or more secluded pitches.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Booking was easy, seems relaxed. Had toilets on site.
Disliked Was just a big field. Was so busy only the centre was free, would be more comfortable on the outside or near a tree (just a preference nothing wrong with the site ) so ended up going to another site.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Stayed here for a first camping session with my daughter. The camping site is quite and small and ideal for weekends away, plenty of the basic facilities if needed of basic toilets and clean drinking water. Also has some nice walking tracks nearby and near some lovely pubs both in Darley dale and south Darley within easy walking distance.
Disliked slighlty at a slant but good.
