Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Beautiful campsite, lovely and quiet whilst we stayed, only two other tents both nights we stayed. Really liked that the pitches were mown into the long grass which helped with making it feel even more private. Facilities were also very clean. The local pub does exellent food, with great vegan options - well worth the walk.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Absolutely perfect peaceful campsite, with spacious private pitches and everything you need for a relaxing stay. No cars allowed on the camping site but trolleys and barrows available for transporting gear from the nearby parking area. Superb clean facilities, including the best shower we've ever had on a campsite! Really lovely friendly hosts too. A perfect place to stay when exploring the southern Peak District & Derbyshire Dales. Thanks, we loved it all!

What customers say
This is a peaceful, eco-friendly campsite with spacious, private pitches mown into wildflower meadows. Facilities, including composting toilets and showers, are consistently described as clean and well-maintained. Guests appreciate the car-free field, making it ideal for families, and the surrounding natural beauty. While most reviewers had an excellent stay, one noted cold showers in the morning and another wished for more wheelbarrows. The site is conveniently located for exploring the Peak District.

Peaceful and relaxing countryside spot.
Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Lovely mainly level site with plenty of space. We really liked the mowed pitches that clearly define your area. Nice that campervans are kept separate from the car free tent area. Very clean and tidy shower and toilet block. Nice outdoor washing up area. Pub in walking distance and lots of countryside to explore. We saw lots of birds even though it was raining. Quiet and relaxing site.
