What customers say
Thorpe Cloud View offers stunning countryside vistas and a peaceful atmosphere, with many visitors praising the friendly and helpful owner, Ed. The site is noted for its spacious pitches, many with excellent views, and the option to choose your own pitch. Basic but clean toilet and shower facilities are available, along with fire pits for hire. While the site is generally well-regarded for its natural beauty and relaxed vibe, some guests have commented on the basic nature of the facilities and the sloping pitches.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Plenty of space for campers, wash facilities available and Ed the farmer was lovely & there to help if needed. Short drive from Dove dale stepping stones & Thorpe Cloud Summit hikes. Even after a cloudy afternoon and Terrential rain, you were able to see the stars at night. Amazing Views.

Peaceful stay with stunning views & superb hospitality from Ed!
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Stunning views (especially sunset), large pitches with picnic tables, peaceful and private, fire pits for rent and wood for sale, warm showers, clean loos, and of course the hospitality of Ed the farmer, who went above and beyond to accommodate us. We had everything we needed, slept soundly, and were well situated for the places we wanted to explore this weekend. Would recommend to friends and family visiting the Peak District. Cheers Ed!
