What customers say
This is a small, peaceful campsite praised for its immaculate facilities, beautiful gardens, and stunning views. Guests consistently highlight the friendly and welcoming hosts. Ashbourne is a pleasant walk away. Some reviewers noted the need for levellers due to pitch slopes and a lack of hot water at the washing-up sink. Access advice is available.

Quiet and peaceful site.
Electric grass and earth touring pitch
Liked The site is very peaceful and spotlessly clean. The toilet/shower block is really nice quality. The site is very small and friendly (about 5 places in the grounds of a house). You can walk into Ashbourne in about 40 minutes which is a nice town with a good range of cafes and shops.
Disliked There isn't a washing up point (just a sink with cold water). There was no Wifi (this didn't bother me but most sites have this now).

Disliked Nothing. Gate access from lane could be wider for larger vehicles.

Welcoming, respectful quiet site with plenty of space.
Electric grass and earth touring pitch
Liked Very welcoming and friendly owners with a cute dog, always a bonus! Large pitch but with a slope so levellers required. Lovely location, away from it all with some beautiful views over the hills from the gardens, which the owners are happy for you to use. Resident donkeys were friendly! The new shower block was clean with 2 toilets and another in the wet room shower. Plug points near the sink for a hair-dryer & electric shower so always hot water. There is currently no cover over the outside washing up sink and no hot water, which I'm sure the owners are working on - means boiling a kettle to wash up and taking a brolly if it rains. We cycled to the Tissington Trail from the site; a couple of big hills but just a mile, so easy to walk the toughest bits. Overall, a really nice stay where there were just 4 pitches and everyone was respectful with no loud noise - heaven!
