Liked Nice flat pitches with plenty of space. Toilet and shower block clean and warm. Friendly welcome at reception. Good village close by for amenities that was walkable. Campsite was well signed and easy to find.

Disliked No mention of WiFi and I had very poor signal. A goat blocking the entrance to shower block 🤣 He's very friendly usually but when it comes to getting access to the warm shower block, he becomes rather feisty and territorial!

Liked Lovely friendly welcome. Clean and organised site. Met lots of other campers here and there seemed to be good community vibe about the place. Facilities were clean.

Disliked Steep climb up to the town (though well worth it!)

Regarding the terrain, our campsite is located in an old quarry, which gives it a unique natural setting but also explains the variations in levels. Most pitches themselves are flat, but indeed, moving between some areas can involve slight slopes.
