Me gustó Flat field. No frills. Lovely view of the sea and the top of Portland bill lighthouse.
There were families playing cricket when we arrived so a lovely friendly feel.
The cafe on site is a real bonus.

No me gustó Nothing. Although the approach to the girls with construction materials and mounds of earth isn’t the prettiest, it didn’t matter to us.
I didn’t visit the portaloos as I chose to use my loo in the van. My husband said there were no lights in the loos, so we would recommend this is added to avoid dropping a torch or phone down the portaloo!
We also didn’t shower, partly as there was a cost. I think showers should be included in the camping rates, as it was slightly expensive for a basic field with a portaloo but I’m sure you are paying for the great location.

We're also glad to hear the approach to the site didn't detract too much from your overall experience. We are currently working on ongoing improvements to the site and we very much appreciate your patience and understanding during this time as we can't wait for guests to see the finished results!

Thank you for the very practical suggestion regarding lighting in the portaloos, it's a brilliant point and we'll certainly be looking into this as we wait for planning permission to build a permanent toilet block and we're grateful you took the time to flag it.

Regarding the shower charge, we completely understand your perspective and appreciate you raising it so fairly and honestly. The small charge helps us to maintain the hot water and upkeep of the facilities, though we always take feedback on pricing seriously and will continue to review how we can offer the best possible value for our guests.

Me gustó Will definitely be returning- views were great, nice chill vibe to the campsite. Toilets were clean and the cafe was delicious for breakfast! Amazing place to stay to reach Battleship and Blacknor climbing area

Having Battleship and Blacknor right on the doorstep is pretty hard to beat. We love that the site works so well as a base for getting out and exploring the area.

Did not use loos or shower as I have a Moho

No me gustó The very sharp ingress/egress on to a hill was a tad tricky as road was sandy/gritty hard to see to turn and other drivers had no dang patience to let me out.

Me gustó Location, simplicity of booking and checking in, lovely showers, great café, spacious pitches, ample portaloo’s, superb views, nice people, great wildlife and birds, farm vibe, not overcrowded, peaceful.

No me gustó The toilets can get a bit smelly when busy, but they are cleaned regularly.

Portaloos during busy periods can of course present a challenge, and whilst our team clean them regularly throughout the day, we completely understand that on particularly busy spells they may not always be at their best. It's something we continue to monitor closely and take seriously, in the future we will have a permanent toilet block.

Me gustó loved the whole area. Peace and quiet and getting back to nature. showers were fab and the little cafe was great as were the staff . we will be back.

No me gustó The toilets were at times a bit smelly but mostly they were ok. Definately need to bring own loo roll just in case.

Thank you for your honest and fair feedback on the toilets. Portable facilities during busier periods can occasionally present a challenge with odour, and whilst our team clean and check them regularly throughout the day, we completely understand it isn't always perfect. Your tip about bringing loo roll is a great one and well worth mentioning, we tend to top up the toilet rolls in the mornings and during the afternoon clean, however, we'd always recommend guests pack their own just in case.
