Mi è piaciuto I have stayed at Sweet Hill Farm on three occasions now; it is a great camp and motorhome site, with simple but ample facilities for fuss free semi wild camping. The shower block and showers are cleaned daily and take a pound coin for a three minute shower. The cafe offers nice fresh bean coffee and teas, plus breakfast rolls and cakes. All of the camping fields are spacious and the site is perfectly located for nearby cliff rock climbing, fishing and walking around the cheyne section and east weares. Portland Bill lighthouse is visible from the site and withing easy walking distance.

Non mi è piaciuto The only let down is the toilet blocks, which can get a bit blocked and smelly when the site is busy. But, they are cleaned out daily.

Non mi è piaciuto Liegt im Industriegebiet. Blick auf Industrieruinen in der anderen Blickrichtung. Schutt und Schrott auf dem Campingplatz. Dixi-Toiletten. Und dafür 26 Pfund die Nacht. Furchtbar!

Mi è piaciuto Loved the views and the space. Loved the cold showers. Liked the walks and the ponies and the position.

Non mi è piaciuto Portaloos. Would be better with composting toilets Of which there was only one in which someone had missed the toilet. Portaloos stank even away from them and some were filthy.

We're sorry, however, that the toilet facilities did not meet your expectations. We understand that cleanliness and comfort are important parts of the camping experience. Our team works hard to maintain the facilities throughout the day, but unfortunately standards can sometimes be affected by how they are used between cleaning visits. We appreciate your feedback regarding both the portaloos and the composting toilet, and hoping in the next few months planning permission will go through so we can create a permanent toilet block like our on-site showers to improve the experience for our guests.

Mi è piaciuto The views were absolutely gorgeous! Waking up overlooking the field of horses and sea views behind them. Absolutely breathtaking. All the staff were lovely and so welcoming. The surrounding area was also fab, with so many good walking trails around.
