We're sorry to hear about the portaloos falling over during your visit and we completely understand how inconvenient and unsettling that must have been. Whilst Wednesday wasn't a storm day in the traditional sense, the Isle of Portland did experience some exceptionally strong winds over that period, which unfortunately caused the units to topple. Our team worked as quickly as possible to get them back up and secured, and we hope the disruption was kept to a minimum. We'd also like to reassure any guests reading this that compostable toilet facilities are available near the shower block as an alternative, so there is always another option should the portable units be temporarily out of use for any reason. We now have permission for a permanent toilet block on site, which we hope will make a real difference to the facilities during the windier evenings. We appreciate you flagging it and we hope it won't put you off giving Sweet Hill Farm another chance as in the right weather it really is a very special place to be and will have a new toilet block for next season :)
