The Paddock Campsite

Me gustó Lovely location, easy wander to the beaches ,pub nearby if needed& farm shop with lovely foods.
Spacious living area, with kettle, toaster ,microwave & fridge, sofa ,tv , and a separate bedroom. Close to communal bathrooms.
Hot tub was lovely & nice to have an outdoor seating area .

No me gustó Some road noise ,and lots of flies getting in. However, fly zapper/spray Inc, and road noise can't be helped- depends how sensitive one is ,really!

Only major issue is the comfort of the beds ,hence losing a point. Could feel every spring on the main bed,and the mattress on sofa has lumps bumps & you can feel the slats...we're used to tent camping, and honestly agreed an air bed IS more comfy !

Me gustó Great little campsite. Facilities were great and the service was excellent. I loved that Cayton Bay was a short walk away and a dog friendly pub with an outdoor play was also a short walk. Great driving distance for Filey and Scarborough.

No me gustó The only disappointing part was that the road nearby could be noisy at night, but not anything the owners can do about that!

Me gustó Nice space with friendly hosts. Bacon and Egg sandwich options in the morning was a nice touch. Good facilities and easy access to walks.

Me gustó Lovely little site , was very quiet during our stay so plenty of space. Toilets and showers clean and tidy. Would live just a changing table for little ones but we managed just fine in the car. Very friendly owner and puppy, perfect for a short stop over and an amazing fry up at the farm shop too.

Me gustó Amazing stay host was just a beautiful soul and very helpful with lush bacon and fresh free range egg sandwich made at small cost of 4.50….hot tub amazing and slept like log in the pod…plenty places to visit by car….deffo be back 🥰🫶

Me gustó The overall experience has not been good! I booked the wrong month so had to cancel as soon a we realised my mistake! Didn’t hear a word from the campsite or the pitch up app! No chance of money back or a rebook!

No me gustó Customer service form both the campsite and pitch up ! Yes I’m aware the mistake was mine ! The campsite wasn’t busy!!

Me gustó The hot tub was amazing, I really enjoyed my time at the Paddock, Rebecca the owner was very helpful and friendly. It is in a lovely spot, views are amazing and it is just a short walk to the beach. There is also a lovely farm shop and a child friendly pub just a short walk from the paddock.

No me gustó I feel like im being picky to find something i disliked. I went in February so the shower rooms and floor were quite cold but to be fair it was because of the time of year. It would have been a nice extra to have a toaster in the glamping pod as the farm shop had lovely bread and butter but I couldn't toast it.

Me gustó Lovely quaint location, nice and quiet. Close enough to walk to the beach & next to a lovely farm shop. Owners were very friendly and accommodating. Stayed over New Years Eve, lovely atmosphere on site.

Would 100% make a return visit.

Me gustó We stayed at The Paddock Caravan and Camping in Lebberston from 14th–15th December and had a fantastic, relaxing break. This is a genuinely no-frills site, and that is exactly what makes it so great. It offers the kind of simple, down-to-earth experience that a weekend in the countryside should be — comfortable, peaceful and completely unpretentious.

We stayed in one of the cabins rather than a tent, and it was cosy, warm and private, which was perfect for a winter stay. Everything was spotlessly clean and well equipped, including a microwave, cutlery, plates and glasses. A particularly nice touch was the inclusion of plastic wine glasses for use in the hot tub.

The log-fired hot tub was a real highlight, with plenty of wood provided, so there was no stress about keeping it going. The fenced outdoor area was ideal for our dogs, allowing them to be outside safely without any risk of escaping. The site being dog-friendly overall was a huge plus for us.

This is not a large commercial site. It is small, friendly and personal, with welcoming staff who make you feel genuinely at home rather than processed. It is also excellent value for money, which made the stay even better. If you are looking for something polished, rigid or overly managed, this probably is not the place for you. However, if you appreciate a relaxed, authentic countryside stay done properly and without pretence, The Paddock is ideal.

The only thing that would have made it even better was ordering some winter sunshine instead of the wind — clearly the weather had other plans. A huge thank you to Rebecca for her kindness and excellent hospitality. All in all, it was fab, and we would happily return and thoroughly recommend it
