A aimé Stayed here for one night and absolutely loved it pods were clean and hot tub was lovely Rebecca the host was lovely and friendly and would definitely recommend we will definitely be back at some point

A aimé The pitch sizes was good, it was a back to basics site. Electric was great. Basic facilities which i did see getting cleaned more then once in the day. Friendly owner. Short walk to cayton bay beach.
Farm shop is reasonably priced and we had their pastires so nice.
Local pub is super dog friendly

N'a pas aimé It wasn't such a dislike as we had an amazing weekend but from other comments yes there is road noise just took a while to get used to on a night time. Flies wasnt as bad as reviews say this visit, but if your not used to them then yes they could be a problem we did have to use fly spray in our tent we just sprayed in a morning as we was going out. Our pitch was also on a slope so be aware you may need to alter items to make them flat not really alot the owner can do.

A aimé This is our second stay at The paddock this year, its in a perfect spot for acces to the beach which is only a 15-20min walk away or a very short drive. Warm showers are available in this quiet and secluded camp site. Rebecca the owner is very friendly and helpful. Thank you

N'a pas aimé Our first stay at the beginning of August, temperatures were very high, which seemed to have an effect on the amount of flies around. This time, this wasn't an issue for us.

A aimé Little site next to the busy filey to scarborough road.

The site is small, 3 yurts and 3 glamp pods. Space for a few tents ect.

Nice walk to Cayton Bay.

N'a pas aimé Very noisy even on night time. There were sheep making a lot of noise all night too.

Lady who owned the site was pleasant but needs to look at who's coming and what they are staying with. I had a tent box, emailed a week before asking if I could add a pup tent child and dog to booking was told yes will be extra £60. Got there was asked to park outside the site and said that will be hard and would expect my money back as i was in tent box on car top.
The showers had faeces on wall like someone smeared it on. The drains in there were not nice.

There were a million flies in the 4 shower/toilet units. And the toilets were in same bits as shower. So if 4 were showering you'd not be able to use toilet. And the shower/toilets smelled of fly spray. Not very good for an asthmatic. The flies were left on the floor. There were so many dead flies and ones flying round. They dive bombed you

A aimé Small, rural site, spacious pitches, clean & well stocked facilities. We had a great few days here, Rebecca (the site owner) was so attentive and nothing was too big an ask. Being a rural area the ground is uneven but our pitch was great and everything we needed, with plenty of space for French cricket which is a given on our camping trips. We had the added bonus on our last night where one of the local chickens joined our party and spent a good while on one of our camping chairs! We were dubious having read lots of reviews...everyone has their own experience and i respect that, but all I can say is we had the best time and thanks to Rebecca for being such an attentive host ❤️

N'a pas aimé There were flies around, but camping we had no bother sitting out for hours day and night, we were genuinely rarely bothered by them.

A aimé Lovely place to stay . Very clean and quiet . Landlady is such a lovely person . Facilities are great . We are planning on going back there soon .

A aimé Friendly welcoming owner. Easy walking distance to a beautiful beach. Good communication prior to arrival

N'a pas aimé A lot of flies in the bathrooms. Could be made better with some simple deterrents. Very noisy road nearby traffic 24 hours a day

A aimé Great location and friendly site. Nice location close to the beach, with good facilities. It’s a friendly, family-run site. A lovely place to stay, although the number of flies during our visit was a real downside.

N'a pas aimé Flies, lots of them. I realise this is largely out of the owner’s control, which is a shame because otherwise the site is great. Unfortunately, there were just so many flies that it became difficult to enjoy our stay. I’ve never experienced anything quite like it — the sheer number of them was unreal. Such a shame, as the site itself is otherwise excellent.

N'a pas aimé Site is wedged between 4 chicken sheds with constant smell. There are flies everywhere. There is also constant road noise. The site is small with no marked pitches and everyone is on top of each other. We just stayed away and came back to sleep on-site. Appalling.

Unfortunately I cant control the smells in the countryside or the flies which are generated by local farmers working the land.The pitches are marked out with poles however, children displaced these to play games with them, the hard ground made it difficult to reinstate the poles.I personality show people to their pitch & ask if it it satisfactory for their camping needs
