No me gustó Hardstanding slope quite badly and are full of weeds, grass badly in need of cutting, water taps are a long long way from the pitch no drains on a fully serviced pitches? It's basically a very dusty building site save from the area around the fishing lake, sadly I will not be returning.

As explained there is an area behind your pitch which is for the grey waste

Me gustó Friendly staff, more than helpful when we suffered a motorhome breakdown and were able to extend our stay.
Offered advice on local takeaways that delivered to the site, even offered to pick up any groceries if we needed them.
Handy little shop that stocked important chocolate - so needed when things are not going so well!

No me gustó The incline walk back from the shower block/ toilets - not good when you live with a disability - incline not visible from gallery pictures, although to be fair the listing does say chocks and levellers may be needed, but I guess if you're booking Derbyshire and you come from Norfolk, any molehill is a mountain :-)

Me gustó We stayed here while attending a wedding locally. Staff were friendly and helpful, facilities are great and the pitches are nicely spaced out and easily accessible.

Me gustó Jo was friendly.
The site was relatively quiet during the week, only getting busier at the weekend.
Fishing was a good (but the only) option for entertainment.
Beautiful countryside landscape.

No me gustó The site is on a slope. Even with our levelling chucks, the motorhome was sloped quite drastically.
The women's showers had an annoying timed light system. On every occasion I showered, I was left in darkness and any motion sensor isn't in the showers. There are no windows either, so the light has to be on really - not much point in a sensor.
The shop is very expensive- make sure you have your essentials before you arrive.
There is nothing at all around and no public transport. If you have a car, it would be much better.
The WiFi doesn't reach to the pitches.

Del administrador: Colleen if you had spoke to us, we could have looked at putting you on a different pitch, there is a slight slope, which is explained on pitch up.

The showers do have working sensors and once the light comes on it stays on for ten minutes, no one has every complained that they didnt have time for a shower, once you come out of the shower, the sensor picks up your movement and will continue and the light stays on

Not sure what you mean by the shop is very expensive, the dearest product is a bottle of wine for £10,most customers say that we are too cheap for a camp site shop.

There are buses at the top of the road that take you to Ashbourne or Derby

The wifi is not advertised on pitch up as it only works around the reception area but 5g is excellent here.

If you had bothered to read about our site on pitch up, all your questions would have been answered including that we do not have a clubhouse or entertainment, hopefully you will do this before you stay anywhere else and save them the bad review

Me gustó Big sized pitch, secure site with a barrier operated by a key fob to get in and out. Very friendly lady in reception/shop who I think is the owner and lives on site. Very clean toilets and showers, and also dishwashing area. We drove into Belper (about 15 mins) which was a lovely little town with lots of nice coffee shops, pubs and even a farmers market on! Had a mooch about and also dropped on a family fun day at the rugby club. Thought the site was good value for money - not much in the very near vicinity but as we were in our caravan, that was no bother for us as we had the car!

Me gustó Campsite was ok and was an ideal spot for touring this area, loved the countryside all around. We spent four nights there and was happy with everything, although we didn’t use the toilets or showers so can’t comment on them.

No me gustó I wouldn’t say disliked but wasn’t too happy about was that there were a number of caravans who obviously were related and were all together. The young children were playing football and other ball games in amongst the caravans and coming quite close to our caravan and the parents didn’t do anything. In most sites you are not allowed ball games near caravans. The families were very friendly so I didn’t complain.

The five caravans booked with us separately on pitch up as they knew we did not take groups.
Any issues with them were quickly stopped and sorted, so you could enjoy your stay, i did regular walk rounds to ensure everyone was happy.

The caravans will not be back, i would have much preferred you to come to me, it may have stopped you giving us a bad review

Me gustó good sized pitches. just a little bit on the slope.
good clean facilities.

Me gustó Our second visit to the site. It’s clean and spacious with friendly staff. We had another really good stay. This time the kids went fishing on the lake; they caught lots of fish which they were happy about.
