Liked The pitches were indeed spacious. I can’t say anything much about walks etc as suggested by the app because the site was pretty boggy due to the volume of rain. I stayed here during my first week at a new job & as the NEC show was on, there wasn’t much else available with power & hard standing & showers in the area.

Disliked Potholes - Wow they were a lot on the site roads. Admittedly there’s potholes everywhere at the moment but the site had a lot of them in a small area making the drive very bumpy.

Liked The location is beautiful & amazingly close to Bakewell. The owners were lovely, always happy to chat & help & offer advice on the area etc. The new facilities block was just that, very new & spacious. It was super busy & we had nor heard any complaints - together I think that says it all.

Disliked Not a dislike as such, more an observation. If you are pitched away from the Farm / Reception or away from the new facilities block then obtaining fresh water was a journey. Also, make sure you have decent level equipment as some of the pitches are quite sloped.

Liked This was a one night stay to help us travel up to Cairnryan for a ferry without trying to make the 8 hour plus drive in one go. For this purpose it was spot on.

Disliked Nothing - We weren’t there long enough for anything to be disappointing.

Liked Location - It is a shortish walk into Pickering & places you perfectly for drives to Scarborough / Whitby / Malton / Eden Camp etc etc. Owners - Quite simply lovely, so helpful from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave. Facilities - A super clean CL site, I’ve seen little complaints about a lack of facilities but it’s quite clear when booking the site that there isn’t a club house / shower block etc (plus most mobile homes & caravans have bathrooms now). Noise - Yes it is close to the main road into Pickering but to be honest we felt it faded into the background & did not impact our stay at all.
