Liked Lovely views and good facilities for a pop up. Great location and good value.
Disliked The new toilet block needs a bit of tlc as panels missing inside and plaster exposed plus light in one of toilets so dim you couldn’t see. Water was actually a bit too hot in the shower and no temperature control but better than not being hot enough. The night time hum of the A40

Liked Beautiful setting, wonderful facilities. Lovely to be given some fresh farm eggs. Friendly owner. Even better as we had the whole campsite to ourselves!
Disliked Not so much dislikes just some things to improve upon - would be great to have some hand towels in the bathrooms and something to stand on when you get out of the shower as floor gets wet and dirty.

Liked Lovely spacious field and view and choose your own pitch. Good facilities
Disliked Showers only luke warm and whilst I do like clover the grass needed a cut. The electric field grass was nice and short!
Has noisy neighbours but that can’t be helped just selfish people

Liked Great facilities and nice extra touches including a kitchen and covered area to sit with table football, with friendly owners. Quiet location and reasonably flat pitches. Lovely views.
Disliked Only two showers which is shared with Campervan’s, tents and shepherds huts so gets busy. Get up early to avoid queues.

Liked Fab location and facilities. The toilets and showers are wonderful as is the drying room. You get what you pay for!
Disliked It’s an expensive site. We were on pitch 26 and people from the next field had to cross near our pitch ( or the less polite across our pitch ) to get to the toilet which was far from ideal. Was worried about them tripping over our cables. It needs better signage for people. The pigeons were also a problem landing on the Campervan roof.

Liked Fabulous location and views. Lovely facilities.
Disliked Always a problem combining the shower and toilet and with only 3 of them on the site it does mean you have to wait esp if people have long showers. Water pressure was erratic and sometimes non existent!
The information hut could be turned into a toilet as not a lot in there.

Liked Our second visit here after 4 years. Love the location, pitches now better the greenery has grown and the bar area.
Disliked Not enough showers or toilets for a campsite this big. Hot water a bit hit and miss and sometimes scolding hot in the shower which is dangerous.

Liked Fabulous setting, great farm shop, really clean and modern facilities plus good WiFi. Plus really good value. Just wished we had stayed longer but were on our way to somewhere else. Our pitch down by the river was idyllic
Disliked The road is a bit bumpy and holes but then again it is a farm! Being really fussy as showers are great but could do with being a bit warmer plus somewhere to put your products whilst in there would be great. Now I’m just being picky as a fabulous site!

Liked Great location - near the beach, walking distance to Perch, the station and 700 bus to Brighton. Great clean facilities and well maintained. Spacious pitches and friendly owner. Also has a cafe which we didn’t use but very handy. Love the fact it has an outdoor table tennis table
Disliked Could do with another toilet and shower esp when busy.

Liked Great setting with wood and walks. Good and very clean facilities. Ideal stop over before Dover. Lovely warm welcome from owner.
Disliked Not enough facilities when it gets busy. People don’t observe the 6m spacing between pitches and it’s not enforced. We had to ask someone to move as too close.
As an excellent stop over to Dover it does mean it gets busy and noisy first thing in the morning so camp away from the facilities of just staying lovely.

Liked Friendly owners who were kind enough to lend us a hook up cable. Lovely fishing lakes just a shame you don’t get a view of them from the actual pitch. Obviously a great site if you like fishing
Disliked Noise from the A12 so didn’t sleep Then more noise from 6.30am onwards as people arrived to fish so it felt like we were in a car park.

Liked Lovely setting and good to have a coffee shop and pizza restaurant on site. Great if you have children as a wonderful play area.
Disliked Showers not obvious as marked as baby changing so everyone couldnt find them! Not enough showers for the number of campers. Just a field so no water points. Toilets need cleaning more often as shared with pizza restaurant and coffee shop on site.

Liked Our second stay here. Great site with wonderful views and clean basic facilities. Plus added bonus of a restaurant on site with great farm food. Fab breakfast and wonderful steak from the farm shop. It was lovely they moved us to a hard standing flat pitch (car park) as the weather was just so wet and windy. They do have a tractor if you get stuck! Owners are just lovely. Not forgetting a new wifi system across the site.
Disliked The site is on a grassy slope but it does mean you get great views but a bit hazardous in the wet.

Liked Lovely big pitches surrounded by meadows with fire pits so a real sense of space. Good facilities all round and great location. Friendly owner.
Disliked Can be a bit windy. Very noisy helicopters until about 9.30pm and about 8am the next morning. Can only think it the military doing manoeuvres!

Liked Beautiful site with large flat pitches. Non electric pitches in a meadow area. A real sense of space. Lovely toilets and showers and all very clean. Friendly owner.
Disliked Some non electric pitches are a long walk to the toilets especially in the rain! Only x2 toilets which are in with the showers but they are planning more and a separate toilet.

Liked The woodland setting is just wonderful but you do have the option of camping near the open field area as well. The bathroom facilities are better than some B&Bs and hotels and there are nice touches like proper liquid hand soap and cream plus borrow a blanket or sleeping bag if you have forgotten your own. The free use of the fire pits (logs available for sale on site and priced reasonably) really make this place which means you can stay warm and use them to get rid of some of the mosquitos at certain times of the year. The weather was lovely whilst we were there so we didn't make use of the covered communal area although the fridge and freezer in this area where also such a great addition. Can highly recommend doing some of the walks and you will find them photocopied in the information centre. With a great farm shop done the road this place is hard to fault. We will be back and bringing the kayak and bikes next time.
Disliked The mosquitos - so bring lots of repellent and citronella candles but hey thats all part of being in the woodland.
