Clean site, accommodating staff. Request an outer pitch if in tent.

Liked The facilities are some of the best we have stayed at so far - especially the showers with great pressure! There are both indoor and outdoor toilets, a washing up area with hot tap and more. The site owners were very friendly and really looked out for us when the wind picked up by offering us a different pitch. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone travelling into the area.
We also brought our dog who is 10 years old but a first time camper. After the first night I was concerned he would be terrified but when we moved it was lovely and peaceful. He had a blast. Thank you for being a dog friendly site!
Disliked Pitches in the middle got really windy so I would suggest that maybe the hedge row/outside pitches are given tent priority on windier days. I am only saying this because the night we stayed in the middle there were many free pitches on the edge, yet we weren't given them. The wind did end up damaging one of the tents. Really appreciate that we were moved though that was great from the site owners, also appreciate they can't control the weather!
The middle pitches aren't as even as the outside pitches either.
There was also a rude lady who was in one of the permanent caravans, but that's not the lovely site owners fault!

Liked Showers and Toilets were faultless and very clean. The pitch was good and well maintained
Disliked The first night was horrible, they let a family group with ten children pitch up and for almost 10 hours solid they played football, kicking into people’s campers, tents and fire pits ! Not only dangerous but totally no respect for anyone else! They continued into the early hours of the morning screaming and talking , loud music and letting the kids run riot ! Never booking a non adults only campsite again

Powered grass campsite
Liked Friendly and very helpful owner. Suggested best area for choosing a hardstanding with very strong winds forecast overnight.
Clean facilities. Easy to find if mobile / AI doesn't change spelling of campsite name! Make sure it is looking for PenCraig, not PenGraig, a campsite which is much further from Valley.
Disliked Nothing.
