What customers say
A quiet, clean, and well-kept spot perfect for a stopover. Guests love the modern facilities, roomy sites, and helpful staff. Great for ferry and tunnel access, with nice walks. Some noted road noise and limited hot water for dishes, but most found it a great value, relaxing choice.

The Menage powered gravel travel trailer campsite

Fantastic
Top Field primitive grass campsite
Liked Everything was fantastic. The owners were lovely and helpful, enough facilities which were clean, plenty of camping space and large woodlands for unleashed dogs to play or walk in. Plenty of places to see either on foot or by car.
Disliked Nothing.

Disliked Very restricted campsite! Not very nice host too! Simple facilities, not worth the money with only 2 showers!

Spick and span facilities and silent nights
Top Field primitive grass campsite
Liked Cleanest facilities I've ever experienced. Dishwashing area and bathroom were always spick and span, and also really usable, ie. hooks and a shelf in the bathroom, plenty of space for a parent and child in there too, and a great mirror and lighting for makeup.
The person looking after the site was staying with us in his campervan so we knew he was there if we needed anything, and he was super friendly and interesting. The 10pm to 7am rule was really enforced so we knew we'd get a good night of sleep.
The field has plenty of spare space for kids to play, and you can decide to pitch and the edge or in the middle of the field, which is nice for groups. It is very flat and ever so slightly sloped - not in a noticeable way, but enough to give us reassurance we wouldn't get puddles. It got very rainy but we didn't notice any at all. The grass was very well maintained too.
There's a nice 30mn walk to a farm shop through fields and a small forest, which was the perfect outing for us. There was also a co-op if you need anything. You'll need to take the car to find food in a pub. Plenty of them around but book in advance if you can, especially if you are a big group. There's an information sheet with a list of them you can pick up when you arrive.
Disliked 4G was a bit patchy. Not awful but it would sometimes drop, and there was no wifi. But this being camping perhaps that's a positive 😅
