Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite (waterside)
Liked The site, itself is fantastic and in a great location.
Clean, ample facilities.
Disliked Prior to arrival we were advised of our pitch C02, we were unable to identify this pitch on the online map or on map at site reception. The areas A, B, C were not highlighted.
We arrived at 1500 on a Sunday afternoon and the reception was closed. (Phone call not answered)
After 20 minutes we found pitch 02, so pitched up there.
When reception was open, the following morning, we were advised that we were in the wrong section of the site and to stay on that pitch, in my opinion, an inferior pitch we had to pay an extra 6 euros per night, or relocate, including drive away awning to other site.
If you are on this fantastic site don't accept pitch 2, it is directly under a wind turbine, causing 24 hours of varying noise and flickering shadow in late afternoon and evening.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're so glad to hear that you enjoyed our location and found our staff to be friendly and helpful. We're sorry to hear about your experience with the shower and toilet block. We do our best to keep these areas clean, but due to our countryside location, spiders and their webs can reappear very quickly, especially when the doors to the amenity block are left open. We will, however, be redoubling our efforts to ensure a more thorough and frequent cleaning schedule. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the size of the shower cubicles and will take this into consideration for future improvements. We hope to welcome you back again soon.
