Liked Great for mountain bikers. only stayed one night as a stop off. Toilets and wash facilities were great and very clean

Unfortunately, being located right on top of a mountain means mobile signal can sometimes be limited, which is completely outside of our control. We are slightly confused by the comment regarding having to walk up a very long path, as guests are able to park directly next to their tent or pitch, and the toilets and washing facilities are located on the camping field itself. The showers are also only around a 2-minute walk away. We’re really pleased to hear that you found the toilets and washing facilities clean and that you enjoyed the location for mountain biking. Liked Great facilities, clean portals, wash sink ran on mains and shower in horse trailer works brilliant. Colin was great host gave me a run down of camp and the town nearby

Liked I used the site a pitch up only. I liked cleanliness of the toilets and showers because I noticed they were left in some state. Well done to the cleaners

Disliked The grass pitch wasn’t flat. However it was absolutely packed and I still managed to get a spot in the cliff front

Liked Pitch were huge, pleasant owner, stayed in wood field for a ‘late night’ as England were playing. Shower and Porto loo still available

Liked Everything. Pick your spot and pitch up. Picnic benches placed around for people to use, they came in handy for groups. Clean facilities, toilets and showers all cleaned throughout the day.

Disliked Constant pushing the shower button for water (nothing major) Couldnt get connected to any WiFi

Liked Everything. Facilities were all clean and tidy, flushing toilet, working hot shower. Electrics for charging electronic devices if needed. Great location. WiFi across the camp site was a bonus.

Disliked The wind was so bad there was a slight problem with curtain for privacy whilst using the shower.

Liked Welcoming and lots of information for the shop and Brotherswater inn. I didn’t use the shower facilities but the toilets were well kept. Will definitely visit again. You are warned it’s a signal dead spot at the tent pitches but you can connect to WiFi at the pub only.

Disliked Being a lone traveller, the trek to and from the was a pain but once set up no problems. I brought a dog with me and I couldnt take him in the toilets which was bit of a panic every time.

Liked Brilliant as always. Second visit. Alan was there to welcome us and explained about part of the field being water logged so opened up a second field which was perfect. Used the showers this time around and great facilities and very clean

Liked Excellent site. Family orientated as we had two children with us. Plenty to do, playing field, crazy golf and 2 play areas. Facilities were really clean. Had a lovely walk around the grounds with our 3 pooches

Disliked The only thing we were missing was a shop, with a site so big could definitely benefit with a shop as we had forgot little bits and bobs and the closest shop is a 10min drive away

Liked Great site. Alan is excellent. Greeted us as we arrived. The site is quiet and secluded. Facilities were great, 3 toilets and 2 showers, wash area and recycling. We forgot logs and cash no problem there they supply fire pits and logs at a price and accept card payment which was a relief. Soft ground and flat plenty of space as we were a couple and two dogs so had more than enough room for tent, car and the dogs pen.
