Is a good site overall, clean , friendly staff and pitches are level
Primitive grass tent campsite (two person)
Liked The views and park itself are set in an amazing part of the Scottish borders, the Taveren Bar and facilities it has outside like the takeaways and milkshake for the children are a great feature, the shop and reception are fronted by very friendly people and the park staff are polite.
Disliked The Showers in the camping area are not that great ,the water is hot enough but yiu have to keep pressing the sink button to activate the shower and the trays are extremely slippy, as I found out when I slipped and nearly knocked myself out. Its not ideal especially for people who are on crutches etc like I was.

Primitive grass tent campsite (two person)
Liked Incredibly quite peaceful in the tent camping area, considering the size and scale of the park and events that were on.
Disliked Facilities woefully inadequate for the amount of people on site.

First time we came was much nicer organised.
Primitive grass tent campsite (two person)
Liked The views, beautiful walk to the mausoleum, good range in the shop, clean toilet blocks, warm water for showering,
Disliked Rude reception, the venue seemed overbooked, as the customers from the hotrod seemed not welcomed into the hall, as no seats left after bingo finished, rude waiting staff, and not enough drinks range outside. Septic tank smell very offensive
