Scoutscroft Leisure Park

Liked The actual park was lovely

Disliked The pod-the bed was rock hard, never slept!
The bistro-no food was on as the kitchens were closed! Had to order from the fish and chip shop !
The smaller pub was shut and we were told there wasn’t enough staff to open it!
Came out the back way to go to the pod and there was no lights at all, extremely dangerous!
The walk to the toilets and showers was quite a way, they should have been nearer the pods or even another lot made for the pods,
The receptionist had no idea what was on , if meals were available and was a waste of time!

Liked Peace, privacy, chill time. Great base to walk from & return to. Easy access to public transport. Friendly obliging staff. Local fish menu.

Liked Didn’t manage to go

Disliked We never managed to get on our holiday as my husband was very ill and taken to hospital unfortunately and the experience from trying to get our money back or put on hold to go another time was unsatisfactory there was no effort made to help just told nothing can do and to pass it to a friend. Not something that should have been suggested considering the situation even though it states in medical emergencies refunds can be given. This was our first time going and it wasn’t the best start especially since we never got. Not sure we will book again to go here we might look elsewhere now. I understand refunds can’t just be given but under the circumstances of my husband being very ill in hospital I would of expected a bit more communication and help with either refunding or holding for another date that we can go.

Liked Absolutely loved the POD, very clean, very well situated. Comfy beds, everything we needed!

Disliked In my opinion the Toilets / showers are too far away from the pods. Specifically toilets.
