What customers say
Great value, friendly owners, and lots of space with a "wild camping" vibe. Basic but clean facilities, though sometimes busy. Some noted minor pitch issues, but overall, a fantastic budget option with farm animals.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite (two person)
Liked Great value site with friendly owners in a charming countryside setting. Basic but clean and well serviced Toilet / Shower facilities. The site is well situated for local transport links with a stop for the No.1 bus service within easy walking distance. This frequent service to Weymouth Seafront (and Railway Station) is every 15 minutes during the day. It also provides some stunning views of Portland and Chesil Beach, so have your cameras ready.

Not for us sadly
Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Owners who checked us in very polite its very cheap but that should of pre warned me really , location middle of housing estate up a side road opens to field some animals farm you can visit see there is a horse box bar that opens we were told . For a stop over cheap cheerful if your not to fussy I’m sure it’s fine
Disliked Personally not for us we booked 1 night only and we didn’t stay , first no shade any where we have a dog , first thing noted bins over flowing right next to a fresh water hose , wash rooms unisex though have a left and right found them not the best mould around fixings just very very basic but grubby and can imagine the size of the site and amount of facilities there not going to get any better , not going to lie felt like I had arrived on a refuge camp , I’m sure there’s many that like this type of campsite , not having facilities in my vehicle I like the site ones to be better , there cleaned you can see that but very very basic cleaning

Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Super friendly, clean and well kept site. As a lone woman camper I felt very safe. Considering there’s only two showers for the whole site the shower was warm and clean.
It’s a basic wild camping type site so if you like that then you will love it. Great location too.
Disliked Only one water tap which had a hose attached so I wouldn’t use it for drinking.

Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Quiet area with plenty of space. Facilities were great- Showers and toilets are kept clean & there’s an outdoor water tap to fill up bottles/water jugs etc. The campsite is well located & easy to find. I had a lovely experience staying there whilst climbing up Portland for the weekend.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite (two person)
Liked That you can choose where to pitch up,
Quiet at night time.
It wasn’t porta loos.
It was a last minute trip for me and my 10 year old and we didn’t need a lot other than a toilet and shower and it had just that. Just a very standard field.
I kinda wish we booked there other sight on the cliff edge with views.
Disliked The location.
