What customers say
This highly-rated, basic campsite offers great value. Guests love the friendly owners & convenient location for climbing, walking & Weymouth. Facilities are clean but simple; some wish for minor upgrades. Farm animals are a hit with families. Quarry noise was noted by a few, but not a widespread issue.

Fantastic place to stop over on Portland.
Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked This was fantastic. Really friendly owners. Nice clean toilets. Lots of space in a lovely open field. We loved the farm animals and thought the ostriches were so comical and entertaining chasing the goats. Its in a fantastic location. They have another field with portaloos on and possibly the finest views over the sea you could ask for. I would 100 percent recommend visiting here.
Disliked Nothing.... we loved it here.

Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Friendly busy campsite great location
We loved seeing all the animals including Emu’s in their pens at the side and sheep roaming freely about on the site
So cheap to stay as well absolutely perfect and can’t wait to get back there again next year, the pop up pizza stall on the Saturday was a bonus, can’t comment on any facilities as we didn’t use any having all our own stuff in our camper van.
Shops pubs and a cafe all down the road from the site
Disliked Leaving and going home 😔
