What customers say
Edwards Farm: Peaceful, well-kept camping with great country views. Friendly owner, clean basic facilities (solar showers, portaloos). Spacious pitches, fire pits. Good base for Shaftesbury, though the walk is steep. Showers a bit exposed, logs pricey. Highly recommended, guests want to return.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Lovely quiet site with plenty of space.
Level pitches.
Clean toilets and a sink for cleaning teeth.
The teenagers particularly liked the USB charging points in the welcome hut! This made charging phones much easier!

A perfect campsite. Peaceful, close to nature, good pitches!
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Beautiful site with good sized pitches.
The hedgerows offered a little privacy between pitches which was good…. Plus the blackberries were plentiful and tasty!
Lovely and peaceful but close enough to walk to Shaftesbury or take a quick drive for essentials…… yummy bakery!
Toilets and showers were basic but clean.
We enjoyed the evening fires and the wood was well seasoned.
Alex was very welcoming and helpful. His dog was also a delight! Thanks so much for a lovely few days… despite the changeable weather.

From the manager: Thanks for your comments , much appreciated. Sort of wondering what you didn't like to give the site an 8/10. Maybe the lack of facilities? I do need to remind anyone booking we are a simple site, off grid, in a small field. We do not have any games rooms or other activities, apart from an abundance of quiet nature and countryside.
Lovely back to basics site with everything you need, minus the crowds!
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked The peace and quiet, the views, Alex's friendly welcome, the proximity to Shaftesbury....everything!
The portaloos were kept clean and didn't smell - so if you've only ever used them at a festival, fear not, these are much more pleasant. We were lucky to have sunny, warm weather so the solar-powered hot water worked for us and I enjoyed warm showers with a view.
Great places to visit nearby (Shaftesbury is beautiful - highly recommend the Lido for a swim) and the dark skies provided amazing stargazing opportunities. We had a brilliant bank holiday weekend, thank you Alex!
Disliked Nothing.
