Tencreek Holiday Park

Liked Fully recommend this holiday park. We stayed over a couple of nights in our camper van, luckily our pitch gave us spectacular sea views. The showers and toilets were very clean with plenty of space for towels and toiletries also caters very well for families with small children offering family shower rooms.
We didn’t experience the entertainment so unable to review this. Overall we had a wonderful stay visiting Polperro & Looe

Disliked Gravel from the hard standing Pitches, had been thrown across the Grass Pitches, making it a bit awkward to walk around, without some kind of footwear on.

Everything you need and some good evening entertainment, highly recommend a stay here!

Liked Nice quiet and clean campsite, staff really friendly and good, fun varied evening entertainment, lovely dog walk to a beautiful beach and another into looe although hilly. Swimming pool not too busy. Food was really nice. Shop was a fair price

Disliked Bar was expensive, we only had soft drinks so not sure if alcohol was expensive too, swimming pool looked a bit grim tbh but didn’t put us off using it. A lot of the arcade machines were out of use which was a shame especially when busy. Paid £24 for 4 days WiFi for 5 devices, and could barely connect and kept cutting out so definitely not worth purchasing for our motorhome, may be different for statics etc

Liked I liked that it was a very organised campsite, great facilities, clean toilets and showers, everything you need really. Really great location too being just up the lane from Looe.

Disliked The only thing I didn’t like which is just personal preference, is that it is a very busy campsite with lots and lots of pitches. I appreciate I stayed during the summer holidays of course but for me I can’t relax when there are so many people all around so a much more spacious and quieter campsite suits me better. But that’s just preference as I say, nothing wrong with the campsite. Pitches were spacious enough but still very close to one another on all sides so felt a little claustrophobic.

Liked Everything was very clean. It was ideal location to Looe and the surrounding south coast path. Facilities very good. Reasonably sized pitch. Enough space for car and to sit out by the tent. Club house was nice, modern and clean. Enough for a short stay.

Disliked Proximity of the electric hook up. If you didn't have a long lead from hook up to your pitch it could have been a problem. However it wasn't so much for us.

Liked This year has been disappointing as we stay here every year and are not impressed.
I left the showers with my daughter as she turned right and walked into the very sharp corner of a very low wooden fence that had been damaged by what was clearly other people previously bashing into it as the corner was sharp and splintered.
This caused my daughter's leg and knee to be cut and bleeding in a large area on her leg and knee.
I took photos of the damaged fencing and my daughter's knee/leg.
I approached the site manager & informed him as well as showing him the pictures .
To say he was ignorant is a understatement, he sat in the bar area listened & looked said OK I will report it to maintenance, not once did he apologise address my daughter who was with me even after looking at pics & her leg right then still not a sorry .

I originally booked to stay from Saturday to leave Monday but the weather was superb I extended our stay to a extra three nights but mistakenly booked one extra night which was for Friday the 14th . I tried to cancel it on the booking page but couldn't so i went to reception on the Monday asked to cancel the Friday the 14th as it was a mistake on my behalf and I was leaving on the Thursday evening as I had a funeral to attended on Friday the 14th at 10am .
I was told by reception I couldn't get a refund as it was booked through pitchup so they gave me another yellow tag with my leave date as Friday the 14th off site by 10am .
Obviously I didn't stay on Thursday night I left the site at 10.22am Thursday morning .
As I was told I couldn't be refunded £58.76 for the night I didn't stay ive had to go through my bank and request a charge back .
I wouldn't use this booking platform again & it will be a while before we even think if returning to Tencreek
