Liked Clean and spacious facilities
Disliked This is not a quiet, natural camping spot, if that is what you are looking for. The smoking pool was already closed when we arrived at about 5 pm and wouldn't open until 10:45. You have to leave the pitch by 10:00, which is rather early and doesn't add to a relaxing experience. No footpath to Looe or the cost, you'll have to walk the road. Wifi is super expensive.
Great for a base camp whilst exploring cornwall
Powered grass site (maximum 6 metres)
Liked Great location, good price, friendly staff, pitches were easily laid out, great facilities, breakfast wasn't too shabby, safe environment for my motorbike, great on site Shop (lots of variety)
Disliked Advertising free WiFi but had to pay. Paid for a 7 days but only got 4/5 days as kept dropping out, we were not that far from main reception.
Some showers had poor water pressure.
Toilets clean. Free icey tap water at the bar. Bar staff friendly.
Unpowered grass site
Liked Sea view and swimming pool included in the price (some sites charge extra). Entertainment also included.
Prices realistic at the bar.
Family shower rooms (1 shower but larger area to get changed).
Pitch sizes a good size.
Disliked The pitch sloped. We asked to move, the lady said no even though 60% of the pitches was empty. The lady said this is Cornwall. We have lived in Cornwall for a years there's such a thing as leveling the ground. Particularly for a business! Ground maintenance provided concrete blocks..
The first shower I had barely warm.
The swimming pool water COLD! Little ones lips turned blue so we got out.
No rattler on draught!
Arcade most of it not working correctly.
You have to pay for WIFI.
Our third year here, we will definitely be returning.

Liked Friendly staff, clean toilet block with good facilities. The clubhouse was good fsmily entertainment.
Disliked Our pitch was very small and poorly marked out.

Liked The faculities were nice and clean the location was good nice walks into the town.
Disliked It says dog friendly but it's not we would have used the bar and eating area if there was a dog area. I don't think sitting on a grass area away from the bar drinking out of plastic cups is very good. It needs a designate area inside somewhere for families with dogs to sit and eat and have a drink.
Amazing vale for money. Only £30 for a 2 night stay.
Unpowered grass site
Liked Amazing from the start. Facilities perfect and better than I was expecting. Couldn’t recommend this place for camping enough
Disliked Difficult to have a dislike. So good m.
Great value clean camp site with good facilities
Powered grass site (maximum 6 metres)
Liked Nice sized pitch NOT a small cramped one Easy and fast check in Staff friendly and helpful
Shower and toilet blocks were very clean and free
Great club house and Well stocked shop didn’t use pool but looked a nice one
Disliked Nothing to dislike on our stay
A base stay, or sleep over
Powered grass site (maximum 6 metres)
Liked The pitch was a good size
The toilet shower blocks were immaculate although felt a little insecure.
Disliked For a Big site, The shop was to small very little in it.
Our scenery was spoilt due to the old fallen apart residential vans.
The place said dog friendly. Which it most defiantly was not. No bowls out, no place inside to go with them for entertainment, no field for them. ( although we used the field for tents as only one there we asked them if we could let our dog run, they were very happy for us too and agreed how unfriendly it was. )
No WiFi unless paid silly amount which wasn't stated. In fact when we booked in the girl at the desk was on the phone and half seen to us we had to work everything out our self. Unlike the TV.
We were so disappointed. On way home we stayed at a small site that had everything for a dog friendly place and it was immaculate.
Excellent site, great pitches, friendly staff a well kept lovely site
Powered grass site (maximum 6 metres)
Liked Amazing site very clean and amazing facilities. A dog friendly site which is ideally placed just a short bus ride from looe. The site is well kept, and has good toilet and shower facilities. These facilities were immaculate, the cleanest i have seen. There is a footpath to the rear of the site. This is great of you like coastle walks etc.. the shop on site is great and has all the essentials you need. Overall a great stay and would definitely return.
Disliked On arrival, the pitch markings can be quite difficult to understand. Also, the road that excesses the site is very narrow and can be dangerous for walking on. Only minor things, this site is great.
