What customers say
A popular, family-friendly campground with spacious sites and many activities. Guests rave about helpful staff, clean facilities, and good food. Enjoy adventure activities, mini-golf, and nice walks. Some mention shower pressure issues, occasional dirty restrooms, and noise. It gets busy; some amenities are seasonal.

Liked Close to marwell zoo
Disliked Toilets and shower need updating especially the floor in the ladies as felt like I was going to fall through near sinks .
Building work going on next to C pitches and wasn’t peaceful.
Pitches are small and a tent next to our caravan had to peg down on our pitch which was a bit of a nightmare with a puppy on a lead as kept getting tangled round guide ropes.

Liked The showers were clean, sadly someone had smeared poo all over the toilets and walls in the ladies one night! bar area lovely, nice walks for the children, friendly staff.
Disliked Pitches felt close together, the sign says no noise 10:30pm-7:30am but the noise level was awful until 3am! My daughter got 45 mins sleep because there was so much shouting right by our tent! Also a lot of rude families, that’s not the parks fault but it dampened the stay sadly 😔

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Proper toilet and shower facilities. Lots of activities.
Disliked Space was too cramped and we had to be very sensitive about noise. As a large group with kids we got a lot of noise complaints. You can't be careful enough with so many kids. Won't be visiting again for that reason alone.

Would go again! Toilets are great despite the hot water and bog roll
Primitive grass campsite
Liked We had 7 pitches (non electric) as we were on a group break. Each was spacious and mostly clearly labelled. When cleaned, the bathroom was great -well lit, clean and stocked. The disabled loo with shower was handy for those with small ones and access needs. Drinking water available. Washing area was sufficient and clean. Great a activities. Nice walk around the lake. Helpful wardens. We didn't enquire about WiFi and didn't need.
Disliked 1.Toilet roll ran out in the evening and not replenished till morning
2. Hot water inconsistent in the mornings, you have to get there before it all runs out I think
3. We explained we were a group of 7 and wanted to be pitched together. We were. But it would have made sense to put us together in a less than a crowded space (there was plenty available),I think we disturbed other campers once.

All round very good just needs a bit of TLC

Liked The pitch was great we were one of only four large tents in the Safari Tent Field. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed the entertainment on Saturday night. Nice large field where children could play safely.
Disliked Only 4 toilets in the toilet block and being used by 3 fields. Water pressure very low and hard to wash up especially in the mornings.

Has gone downhill.

Liked The restaurant and bar.
Disliked The toilets and showers. Hand driers didn’t work, never any toilet rolls and were only cleaned every other day.
No activities now. 3 years ago you could do the high rope course, archery, quad bikes and shooting range. Now only clay pigeon shooting and crazy golf is available. The site was beautiful but now is dirty and not maintained. Such a shame

Disliked There was no WiFi available as it was not working and the phone signal was poor.
Also there was a large section of woodland closed off.

Disliked Very poorly stocked on site shop. Tired facilities and dirty wash block.
