Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.- The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Breed-specific legislation (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
- Group bookings of 2 or more units (e.g. tent, caravan, RV or accommodation hire) traveling together are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
- Group bookings of 4 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).
- Single-sex bookings of 4 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
- No bachelor/bachelorette parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
- No cars/motorcycles at the site. All cars must be parked in the designated area.
- Guests are advised to bring a good quality flashlight with them as parts of the park are unlit.
- Please note that the toilet facilities are unisex.

Liked: Clean toilets always with toilet roll. Little honesty shop for water and essentials if needed. Lovely little private bit that has access to the river at the bottom of Coniston lake so you can start off kayaking straight from the campsite.

Liked: That you can get onto coniston waters quick from the site itself. Thatâs the only good thing about this site unfortunately.
Disliked: Grass was well over grown, only cut down in walk way areas. So my dog being smallish was wet through all the time bringing it into the tent. So was out shoes . Felt like the family was constantly checking on people on the camp too. Which I felt an unease about . It might be cheap site but I stayed on better sites for same price. Toilets was disgusting & the smell was so bad to the point I was sick. I can take some smells too. Opening of site is on a bit of blind bend as u come out making it hard to see & itâs quit a way from nearest shops . Not impressed overall .

Liked: Fantastic location. View over the Coniston range mountains. On the bank of the river that flows from the Coniston Lake. Toilets were pretty clean. Pitch size perfect for big tents. Very quiet site. Friendly owner.
Disliked: No water on the site. A little to long grass. Pricy for a field without showers or water.

Liked: The location is perfect and so clean and tidy and everything you need , even got bbq spots on each tent pitch and clean toilets and only 5 mins drive to the lake
Disliked: There was nothing to dislike at all I had a great stay
