What customers say
Family-friendly campsite in a scenic spot with roomy, neat sites. Staff are praised as welcoming & helpful, facilities are clean, and the on-site cafe/bar with live music is a hit. Hot water issues and some cleanliness concerns persist, and sites can feel close during busy periods.

We would recommend this site and will definitely be returning.
Primitive grass tent campsite (large)
Liked A warm welcome as soon as we drove in to the site, pitches were generously sized and clearly marked. Lower field facilities were clean and regularly maintained. My husband loves a clean toilet and he was impressed with this particular impressed with this block. The cafe/bar was a lovely and the evening entertainment made camping life even more enjoyable. The kids loved the playground it was the first and last thing they did each day. The site felt safe especially as several staff lived on site and they even pulled people up if they were driving too fast through the site - in the interest of child safety.
Disliked Nothing really that we disliked, but we did feel like the upper field (the field we were pitched in) toilets were not as respectable as the lower field. They were dated, not as clean and lacked hand soap. If this was rectified we’d give it a 10/10.

Not nice
Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Site was quiet
Disliked Where shall I start ! The site manager was not very communicative or helpful and gave the impression he really did not want to be there, he was bordering rude. The site is not at all well kept and looks untidy with the main rubbish bins overflowing when we arrived and toilet roll is not supplied. Facilities are old and dated and dirty in some instances, and the washing up facility was very grubby with no hot water available, and one of the shower blocks was locked up. I could not recommend staying at this particular site, even if it was free, as per other people we met on site, and we were thankful we were only there for 1 night,so consider this before you book !!!

Liked It was quite
Disliked I was told on the phone my plot number and then just told to park anywhere. The facilities were dirty, smelt and the floors felt like they were going to give way as you walk on them. We found a nice new shower block as we left, if someone met us we would have known it was there and been able to use it

Good amount of facilities but dirty and unfriendly.
Powered grass tent campsite (medium, maximum 4-berth)
Liked Facilities, use of fridges etc
Disliked Showers and toilets were quite grubby. They were supposed to have been cleaned each day but they remained quite dirty. I didn’t bother complaining However as the person in charge of the site was not very friendly at all.
Our pitch was plagued with ants which was quite unpleasant.
The top field had nice views but our camping field unfortunately didn’t.
