What customers say
This well-kept, dog-friendly site offers spacious, level pitches and a friendly vibe. Clean washrooms and a play area are a plus. The on-site cafe and Saturday live music are highlights. A few guests mentioned occasional hot water issues and a need for more frequent cleaning during busy periods. Managers are planning facility upgrades.

A good site but the toilets could do with being cleaned daily

From the manager: thanks for your review, glad you had a nice stay. The toilets went down to being cleaned once per day due to the weather warning, we only had 6 customers on site during your stay.

Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Easy to find.
Close to towns.
Spacious pitches and very quiet during term time.
Toilet block clean.
Lovely park for children to play in.
Dog friendly.
Live music on site on a Saturday.
Disliked Toilets in top fields closed during week.
Cafe closed Monday - Wednesday
No one around on site - advertised as shop / reception being open and wasn’t open during our 4 night stay

From the manager: Glad you had a nice stay, there is only one warden on site so he's unable to be everywhere at once unfortunately. The shop does have instructions on how to gain access. In a nutshell just give the warden a call and he will open the shop or office if you need to gain access. We did trial the shop as an honesty shop but unfortunately it doesn't work. The cafe is always closed monday to wednesday.
Would stay again
Primitive grass tent campsite (maximum 4-berth)

Primitive grass tent campsite (maximum 2-berth)
Liked Lovely weekend first time camping on my own lovely site very well kept flat pitch. Loos and showers not luxury but perfectly adequate and clean. Great onsite cafe/bar super friendly staff. Live music on Saturday night perfect after a day walking. Just one thing there are several small fields making it lovely and cosy.
Disliked Just one thing there are several small fields making it lovely and cosy but the one I was on backed onto the road even though there was a large thick hedge the traffic in the early morning did wake you up.
