What customers say
This serene lakeside spot excels at water sports and wildlife. Spacious, often waterside pitches & friendly staff impress. Kids love the park, beach, & feeding tame ducks/fish. While clean, facilities are dated. Great for families & relaxing waterfront getaways.

Liked First time me and my partner have stayed here and the first time we have taken our new to us campervan so we were a little nieve subsequently we forgot to bring a hose pipe to fill up our water tank and it is policy that the site can't supply but the lovely chap in reception bent the rules slightly and let us use his.
The lake is great, we paddleboard and its great for few laps around you can soon tot up the kilometres.
That lovey man in reception let us stay on our pitch so we could get in a few more laps of the lake on our boards, then let's us park the van there for a while so we could go to the village pub for some lunch.
All in all very good and I would recommend.
Disliked No recycling and the massive dustbin was overflowing and smelt terrible.

Absolutely lovely site, spotless and very safe feeling.
Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Spotless, was such a perfect weekend. The shop was brilliant, the staff were so lovely and there was a warden that we seen around which I absolutely loved as it made us feel so safe. The shop sold items such as bacon which was not silly prices, if anything it was cheaper. I can see why the whole campsite smelt of bacon every morning with such reasonable costs. We opted for late check out at 4pm which was £5, absolute bargain.
Disliked Nothing I can think of.

Stunning lake
Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Beautiful hidden gem! Its a gorgeous lake, lovely and quiet. This doesnt get enough credit as it should. We booked 2 night last minute from a trip away it was on route home. Some of the reviews made this place sound like it wasnt very nice so we was abit sceptical. Dont let the negative reviews put you off because its perfect. Spacious pitches, decent park, lake that you can swim in and hire equipment and a shop. My family loved hiring boats for the lake, we paid for an hour slot but because it wasnt busy they let us stay on longer. Very friendly staff, really chilled vibe. My kids loved the fish and ducks and they love being fed. We are not fishers but I could imagine you'd have a great time on this lake its full of fish. Dont let the negative reviews about the facilities put you off, you are camping! Ive seen better but ive also seen alot worst. Showers are warm, toilet pans are white, floor is clean.
Disliked The only thing that would of made it that little bit better would be the option to keep the shower water running. Nothing more frustrating than pushing the button every 2 minutes especially when youve got shampoo in your eyes. But honestly this isn't a massive deal.

Liked This is our second visit to Bosworth. It’s great. Lovely site, staff and facilities. All kept clean and tidy. Really large pitches, enough for a huge caravan, awning and truck in a row! Fully serviced pitch with a view over the lake… so relaxing!
