What customers say
This well-run campground offers a quiet countryside getaway with plenty of room for kids. Guests rave about the spotless facilities, including a communal kitchen with a fridge, and charming on-site animals. Host Emma is praised for her welcoming service, with thoughtful touches like fire pits and wood. The small, six-tent site has some slope, but flat spots are available. A neighbor's wedding caused brief noise, beyond the campground's control.

Perfect little campsite.
Primitive grass and earth campsite
Liked I recently stayed with my family and another family. The site was gorgeous, peaceful and it had a well equipped kitchen! The toilet facilities were good and clean. The horses were a huge hit with the kids (and adults!) and the host Emma was wonderful. The site was in an ideal location for adventures and easy to find. Will definitely book again in the future.
Disliked The only complaint we had was from my daughter (aged 8) that there should be more horses! 😂

Primitive grass and earth campsite
Liked We had such a lovely stay here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
The location is beautiful, with plenty of open space for children to roam around freely and safely. We all loved seeing the ponies, horses and chickens – it really adds to the charm of the campsite.
The communal kitchen is a fantastic bonus, especially with a fridge available for guests, and the facilities throughout were spotless.
Emma is wonderful – friendly, professional and clearly passionate about making sure everyone has a great stay.
If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing place to camp, this is it. We had a fantastic time and hope to be back again soon!

Liked Loved the place. So well heartful run by the owners. The scenery with the horses on the background, the fire pitches are so nice. The toilet area is very clean. And they have a phenomonal kitchen with everything you would like at home. A 10 out of 10

Lovely little site with lots of thoughtful touches for campers.
Primitive grass and earth campsite
Liked Lovely little site with lots of thoughtful extras for campers. Really made our stay easy and fun. Fire pits provided with a wood shed in the field to grab what you need to get going. Just bring the food! We played jenga and there was a boules set to use too. The kitchen was fantastic, mini oven, fridge/ freezer, washing up facilities. Meant you could pop in there to heat your pastries up or whatever. There is only one loo and shower but as they only take 6 tents this wasn’t an issue for us. And most importantly the shower was fab, modern and spacious and instant hot water. My little ones loved seeing the horses every time we popped over to the loo or kitchen.
Emma was around to greet us and show us around. Very polite and welcoming. The field is very sloped at the far end but it doesn’t matter because they only take 6 tents so there’s plenty of space on the flatter areas for everyone to pitch up. The field is surrounded by big trees. We’d return. Great base for local attractions.

Primitive grass and earth campsite
Liked Emma was very welcoming and has thought of everything to make the camp site a lovely quiet retreat.
The kitchen was well equipped, lovely shower and toilet, and the communal fire pit was brilliant. The kids loved having the space to run around, and being able to watch and stroke the horses was a big hit! Great location for exploring Ross on Wye and river Wye.
Disliked Some parts of the site are quite sloped, not a problem, just something to be aware of.

Lilly bell tent
Liked We spent three nights at Little Bull Hill and had such a wonderful time. The glamping tent was spacious and the beds were comfortable, with enough space for the kids to sit and play games. The outside seating and kitchen area were well equipped and had lots of personal touches. There was a fully stocked kitchen with all amenities you could need.
My children loved that they could go and visit the horses but also run around the field having plenty of space to play games.
Emma was very friendly and approachable, she provided lots of recommendations and was lovely to chat to.
The location was great, easy to drive to local amenities and attractions (Puzzle wood, Clear Water Caves).
I would absolutely recommend staying here, we had a brilliant time.
