Tyckte om What a great site. I stayed here with my 6 year old grandson and he loved the horses and the fire pits. We met Mary and her husband and they were very friendly.

Tyckte om Emma was a very helpful friendly host. Loved the kitchen facilities and use of power points. Bathroom facilities clean and good.
Thoughtful touches like fire pits and pub garden tables.
Lovely to see the horses and feel immersed in nature (lots of owls).

Tyckte inte om The only drawback was that there was just 1 toilet. But only 4 pitches in use so just needed to be patient.

They’re great to listen to in the evening. So glad you enjoyed the tranquility.
You’ll be pleased to know we are now 2 toilets 🎉. Our compost loo is up and running near the camping field. We plan another shower and flushing loo first next season !

Tyckte om We loved everything about this campsite. Great location, beautiful quiet site with easy access to woods and lanes for walking and biking. Wonderful facilities with everything you could need, including washing machine. And Emma was a great host, good communication, really friendly and a huge bonus was our daughter getting to groom the ponies. We will definitely be back.

Tyckte om Such a lovely, peaceful spot. Facilities are clean and welcoming, with everything thought of. Really nice, welcoming owners. And two nice horses to admire, sharing the sights and sounds of the countryside!

Tyckte om *Small campsite with only a few pitches so plenty of room and reasonably quiet.
*Daughter enjoyed the seat swing, seeing the horses - would’ve loved a campfire too but couldn’t because of the very dry conditions (understandable at the moment).
*Lovely little kitchen with everything we needed.
*Good, clear communication from host prior to stay.
*Clear skies for stargazing!

Tyckte inte om *1 toilet and 1 shower - would be good to have a few more (read in other reviews that this is the plan)
*Several dogs barking in nearby fields quite early in the morning (appreciate farms nearby)
*Clearer rules regarding music/noise later into the evening would be good when making booking.

Från föreståndaren: Thank you for the review, I’m pleased you enjoyed your stay. The dark sky’s are a fabulous opportunity to stargaze. There can be a short wait for the loo and shower weekend mornings when the site is full (6pitches ) I’m pleased to announce 🎉 that there is now a new compost loo next to the camping field .
I purposely don’t have advertised rules. I tailor any suggestions to guests on arrival. I’m sorry if your evening was disturbed. I have found guests to be very respectful of their fellow campers.. but I will be mindful of your feedback. Emma.
