What customers say
Great location for hikes near Mam Tor & Castleton. Enjoy stunning views & a chill vibe. Basic, clean facilities with paid hot showers. Can get busy weekends; expect lines. Peaceful, but some noise from other campers at night.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Location was great, on a working farm within sight of Mam Tor. It was quiet (apart from the wildlife) a fantastic opportunity to just chill

Lots of space in the field…
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Lots of space in the field , can pitch anywhere. Facilities basic but adequate and kept clean. Excellent location for local sites and hikes.
Disliked Rubbish was allowed to accumulate too much in an overflowing skip...smelled bad and unfortunately we pitched quite near it.

lovely, clean site, would return, loved the Spud Van
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Lovely little farm, was quite busy when we arrived but fellow campers were considerate. Spud & pizza van on site for the evening was a nice touch and a small shop. Food was very nice. Toilets and Showers and drinking water on site.
Easy to locate some people say the sign on the gate was hard to find but we just followed the sat nav and it took us straight there no issues.
No wi-fi but that was a good thing.
Disliked Our pitch site was hard ground so we had trouble with the tent pegs but got there in the end.
Site said no campfires, so we did not take ours, but people were having campfires. But we just toasted our marshmallows on the BBQ instead.

Lovely campsite for families great location
Primitive grass campsite
Liked The campsite and facilities were clean and tidy. We liked how close we were to Mam Tor and the camp site didn't have any road noise. We liked that we could park both cars next to the tent. There was a small shop and food truck onside which was helpful.
