What customers say
Rowter Farm gets rave reviews for its amazing spot, perfect for treks with direct access to Mam Tor and Castleton. Campers love the friendly vibe, great value, and handy shop and food van. It's a no-frills farm campsite, but most found the clean facilities totally fine. Some mentioned a bit of noise and busy showers, but it didn't spoil the fun for most.

Great campsite!
Unpowered grass site
Liked We loved the views from the field, especially of Mam Tor. We loved the walks from the site in and around Castleton and the camp site is situated so close to Winnats Pass and Head.
The facilities on the site were good (£1 for shower) cleaned regularly, washing up facilities and the access to a fridge freezer was a welcomed bonus.
The farm shop has a good limit of supplies, and fire pits for hire.
Great location for sunrise and sunsets too.
It was a warm welcome when we checked in, and we met the lovely Tina (Jack Russel) whilst she was chasing the birds in the yard.
We would recommend this site to everyone if you wanted a week or just a night.
We will be returning in the near future.
Thank you!
