Set in the heart of the Hope Valley Hope Valley holidays is a new site open to the public for the first time in 2026. Ideally located between Hope and Bamford with exceptional access to Castleton and Mam -Tor, the Great ridge and Kinder Scout. As well as Hathersage, the Ladybower / Derwent valleys and reservoirs. and only 20 minutes from Chatsworth, Bakewell and the limestone valleys and gin clear streams of the Derbyshire Dales. The site offers 150 pitches across five secluding and tree lined fields with extensive heated shower and washroom facilities dotted strategically throughout the site. We make sure that the natural environment is front and centre of everything we do. From our wildflower borders around every pitch to the beautiful mature woodland that surrounds the site, our aim is for the site to add to the natural beauty of the Peak District National Park.

  • At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.
  • Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
  • Your dog must be tattooed or microchipped.
  • The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Breed-specific legislation (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
  • The park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Breed-specific legislation (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
  • The games room is open between 03/21 and 11/08.
  • Guests must bring their own duvets, pillows, sheets and towels when staying in rental accommodation. You will not be allowed to stay if you do not bring these items.
  • Single-sex bookings of 8 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
  • Bookings must not consist of more than 4 different households.
  • Group bookings of 15 or more units (e.g. tent, caravan, RV or accommodation hire) traveling together are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
  • Group bookings of 30 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).
  • No bachelor/bachelorette parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
  • Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
  • Units longer than 8 metres are not allowed.

Partnering with a local outdoor Activity provider we can offer a full range of activities including rock climbing abseiling, canoeing kayaking, stand up paddle boarding mountain biking , paragliding courses are available by arrangement with tandem flights also possible. Fly fishing on the nearby lady bower reservoir is available via a day ticket which we can help you book. We have a huge number of birds and wildlife visiting the site and a quiet hour on your pitch will introduce you to many of the birds we have the privilege of sharing our space with. Castleton is 3 miles away with Various caverns including a boat tour and an active working Blue John mine. Gliding can be arranged with nearby Abney Gliding club. the bustling outdoor town of Hathersage lies 3 miles to the east with its plethora of outdoor climbing and cycling shops including both Alpkit and Outside. there are numerous cafes deli's and bars and restaurants in Hathersage and two Indian restaurants . Hathersage is most famous for its amazing outdoor swimming pool and a Friday evening swim as the sun sets and live music from the adjoining bandstand it a truly unique experience. We are approximately 4 miles from the start of the pennine way and in |January visitors can support the competitors in the montane spine race, the toughest event in the uk with competitors racing the 268 miles of the pennine way in mid winter conditions. closer to us in Hope our favourite Indian restaurant is Curry Cabin - is in the centre of Hope and is a 20 walk from us . they will also deliver a lavish takeaway direct to the site. For a more upmarket experience we recommend the Blind bull a newly restored 12th century inn which is just under 4 miles to the south, offers a quality dining experience and is featured in the Michelin guide.
